Is it a new box? Have you had the box' fluid renewed?

If your answer to the above questions is "No", then speak to JeffTT at Zedworld. Him and Matty have had a proper flush of their box and when Matty had his done, he couldn't shut up about it as he said that the car felt completely different and would kick down when it was suppose to, and it was a lot smoother. Cant remember if he said it made the car any quicker.

If the car was alright when you bought it and then you have been having problems in the past few weeks, then definately speak to Jeff. He is based in Tamworth but its worth the visit if it gets it sorted.

thing is cos, i jus recently got the motor and the gearbox went soon after i got it. i got it reconed and i did think that it wasn't as powerful as b4... the guy said he changed all the solenoids as well as the other major things. i took it back and the fella said it was ok, so i 'suspect' the fluid must be ok 2.... but i will def get intouch with jeff if not prob take it back 2 the same guy tmrw?

cheers jaz

Jaz a couple of things come to mind, the main one been that maybe you have a non related engine problem (safety boost etc)that has reduced the engine performance and the box is responding to level of power you have at the moment.

Secondly even though you have done an ecu check on the box and all sensor circuits are ok it could be something related to the actual removal and refit of the gearbox,as the exhaust was removed is it all back in place ok, I know it sounds unlikely but problems here could restrict the engine, Did they disconnect the battery? if so is it reconnected tightly? a loose battery lead can play havoc with the electronics!

Check that you are not in hold mode (pulls away in 2nd gear!)only on Jap spec imports though.

Failing all else let me know if you want to book it in.

hi jeff, thanx 4 getting back mate!

a lot of the things u said sound about right, firstly the battery, i disconnected it 4 my ice! so ill check that...

2) i just did the ecu check and the 1st flash is delayed indicating the revolution sensor the only thing is jeff, i get 11 flashes in total. instead of 10! if it were the rev sensor what problem would occur in the perfrom...?

3) i really do think its pulling off in 2nd but its a uk spec!

lastly if its a non engine prob, safety boost how could i rectify it?

cheers jeff, really do appreciate it mate!

regards jaz
