Is your steering wheel offset at all. If it is then it confuses the HICAS system and turns on the warning light. You'll need to remove it and move it around to the next spline on the shaft.

IVE GOT A DIFFERENT STEERING WHEEL ON IT WHICH WOZ ALREADY ON THE CAR MAYBE THAT MITE BE THE PROBLEM IS IT EASY TO DO OR SHALL I TAKE IT TO A DEALER? CHEERS ANDY

Should be quite easy to do if you have a few spanners etc.

Could also be the fluid needs topping up but if it's only in a straight line then it's like Andy said.

The HICAS/power steering fluid is in the green cylinder on top of the drivers side wheel arch.

Try the steering wheel position............I had exactly same problem....only comes on when at higher speeds etc.........the steering wheel postion sorted it for mine.

Good luck
