Think they're about 155mm (could be something in inches). I put in 165mm ones and it was a bit of a struggle. Much hammering and cutting of mounting brackets required.

You can replace the standard speakers with 6.5" (round) ones but with a bit of imagination/persuasion/perspiration you can get 6"x9" to fit.

Same goes for the rear speakers. Originals are 4"x6" but with a bit of clobbering about you can get 6"x9" to fit.

6x9 in the front... Really?

i have some 6x9 in the garage I could never work out out to secure properey in the rear. Is it more easy to fit them in the front doors, with big magnets???

I could move my 6.5" from the doors to the rear.

yup, they do go!! i removed the speaker bracket from the door, gound it out to take me 6x9's then welded it back up to strenghthen it.

if youve got a set with thundering great magnets on tho you may not have enough room to clear the glass.

mine were just 3 way pioneers, saw a nice set of vibes but i just dont think they would have gone in!!
