well at around 140mph the wipers stop working and you have to slow down to about 120mph to get them back down the screen!!!! highly amusing???? IF a little bit dangerous!!!

works fine for me.

 

do you have an import ?

if so, then you have a wind deflector missing from the drivers blade arm....

I have this problem after fitting some new Champion wipers that have a wing/spoiler thingy built in.

I used to get a bit of lift off above about 90mph if I used the standard ones so tried these and now there is too much pressure causing the arms to stay upright instead!

 

www.eurocarparts.co.uk sell bosch spoiler wipers for £4.50 + VAT each, normally these are about £12+ each from halfords etc.

 

Normally you use just one spoiler (drivers side) but at that price I have two fitted, the spoiler helps push the blade onto the screen when going fast, doesn't cure it at 130+ but much better than without.

 

I think bosch are about the best.

 

How long are the Zed wipers?

It's not a case of lifting off the screen, they just sweep to the top and won't come down again till ya lift off!!!!150mph when its raining wi ya heed out of the side window not much fun that's all????

What the fuck are you guys on, driving at 130 plus in the wet, bit dangerous if u ask me, I won't do mre then a 100 when its raining

Yeah really fucking dangerous when you can't see where your going.

What about cleaning flys of the screen at 130+, is that allowed?
