Hey. My ConZult arrived on saturday morning :D What a great tool, highly reccomended. I have a knock sensor fault. Checked and re-checked wiring loom for continuity. Found breaks here and there so I by-passed the lot. Fault still there. Fitted a porsche knock sensor to the inlet manifold and connected into my new loom. Still doesnt work. Does any one know the resistance of an operational z32 tt knock sensor? Any help mostly appreciated.

I don't know if anyones interested, but with winter approaching. The heater matrix from a Primera fits our cars with a very slight mod to the plastic enclosure and about an hours extra work.....got to take the dash out though. costs less than 1/2 a proper z matrix have done 2 now, 1 being my own, spent a little more time doin mine so I could change it .... if needed without removing the dash again.the other I did last Saturday for another club member....did it in 61/2 hours. the matrix looks " more up to the job aswell, as it's 6mm deeper. Just thought I'd share this Pete :D

Hi All. I have a bit of a problem with the engine cutting out when its warming up it starts fine ,runs fine, until it it gets close to normal operating temp then it cuts out ,if I leave it for 1 or 2 mins it will start up fine and run well till the next time it gets cold then we start all over again. I have run conzult and it gave 2 faults , temp sens and maf so I cleaned the connectors and removed the apexi filter in case water in the maf could be causing the problem and refitted the oem airbox and filters. Now I am getting no fault codes and acording to conzult they are both working fine. But on the way to and from work today it did the same again. Ra…

I know the car has a soul but i can't be with her 24/7....lol. I've tried disconnecting the wires in the steering wheel but it still goes off, sometimes it plays a toot tooot tooooooooooot toot t t t t toooot toot tune which is driving me mad, only way around it is pulling the relay which aint easy in the dark but then i miss the cruise control. currently running it with the horns disconnected but now worried that the battery might dra…

 i was driving my 91 NA Manual Z home i got on to my road and then boom, i heard a some weird noises as if something was caught under the car, i stopped got out had a look there was nothing there, but as i started driving slowly again I could hear a nasty grinding noise coming from the back of the car, as if my break pads had gone and the breaks where pressed. i jacked the car up i can turn the back wheels by hand with a bit of effort and i can hear that grinding noise, the break pads are still there discs look to be fine, oh and I noticed that the noise increases when breaking. Any ideas, anyone????? :headvswal

Hello everyone Ive been ploughing through the search for info on wheel sizes. Most I could find was info on width. I'm after the profile size I would need to fit 17" wheels. I dont want to change the overall diameter too much. Would the off set remain the same too? Thanks Andrew

My son has a 300ZX which he has had a few problems with. One of the turbos failed. He took it to a garage that was recommended (in the west of England - where he was at the time). :headvswal - Nightmare. The garage replaced both turbos with recon units. But it is still not 'right'. Any recommendations for an independent 'specialist; in Kent / Sussx / Essex? Personal recommendation from perople who have had experience would be great.

Hi, does anyone know off-hand what the diameter for the handbrake is when the cover is off? I had a hunt round and found THIS nugget on removing the stock one and as I have lost my verniers and frankly can't be arsed to strip it until I have to, all help would be most welcome :hyper: Alternatively has anyone tried fitting one of THESE? Typically enough it's the ones I like that look as if they might be too small :(

This morning, M40(S) between J12and J11 - chasing each other. Got a wave of one of you when you passed me. Front one was blue (standard looking) and the rear one was silver with what appeared to be a wide-arch kit and big rims ... Couldn't see very well due to spray on the road. Anyone on here? Dan

Need a little advice, fitted a set of portfield pads on the weekend, when i drove the car i noticed a grinding noise at low speed or when i was slowing down. Had a check and found that my discs were wearing a groove into the pads. now i knew the discs were warped when i fitted the pads but i thought the pads would just take the shape of the disc? Do i need to buy a pair of discs or should i just let them wear in a little more? If i need to purchase discs what would you guys recomend? Thanks Aktar

Quick question. When I'm turning right, say on a roundabout, the handbrake light is coming on. As soon as straighten up it goes off again. Don't think it's happening when I'm turning left. Just started a couple of days ago. Any ideas?? Cheers Steve

Does anyone with either the doolz or the JWT twin pop setup know what their MAF voltage reading is at WOT? I don't think the workshop manual provides any information apart from the voltage at idle. Cheers Steve

How much more do the tt front calipers pretrude than the na calipers. Also are the discs a different diameter? If anyone has done the conversion and knows an exact measurements, it would be very handy. Need this info to decide whether the wheels i want will clear the calipers. many thanks

Hey everybody. I just wanted to know if the Greddy SP univeral exhaust will give me the same sound as the Greddy SP exhaust on my 300ZXTT. The thing is, I already bought a JWT H-Pipe last week off E-Bay and I really like the way the SP exhaust sounds. I think the one I heard is the original Greddy SP. Its not the SP2. The thing is that, I saw the Univeral SP and it looks the same as the real SP. Design wise. Thanks a lot everybody.

Went out this morning to the shops , everything was fine , got back in the car , started her up went to pull away and it was sluggish  drove a little further and realised it seemed to be stuck in 2nd gear, wouldn,t shift up into 3rd or down into 1st, carried on for a couple of miles to warm it up properly. I pulled over , turned it off then re-started , the power light flashed a fault code , pulled off and it was perfect   . I think it flashed a 33 but not sure as it hasn,t done it again?????. Has anybody had similar and has anybody got the list of codes for a jap autobox. Thanx …

The amp warning lights are not on and the live ,earth and remote are ok and ive even wired a normal cd player with rcas already bu…
