guys , last night i had a good look at the fuel pipes re fuel leak. found the culprit, but this morning the zed is running on 5 pots ive fooked something or leant on something or dislodged something, ive only just got it back from zedworld re new turbo's, any ideas guys , cheers

What do people think would go better with a modified 300ZX, a carbon rear GT style spoiler or simply an aftermarket high level rear spoiler? I'm at the stage where I need to decide sharpish but can't quite make up my mind!! Would love to Poll this one!!

Hi! Does anybody run with the HKS SSQV bovs on high boost?(2 bar) Ive heard som roumers that they cant release the pressure quick enough...Doesnt match what HKS says about their bovs, but what do I know....

just wondered if anyone had got any bits from them and what their service was like, e.g. if you need to send bits back etc cheers

Well, I suppose it was inevitable, Eliza failed the MOT on Wednesday :( 1) Nearside front (to rear) brake pipe excessively corroded. 2) Offside front (to rear) brake pipe excessively corroded. Now due to my total lack of confidence, concerning last years MOT, with the place I've been going to for the last 15 years (!!), I decided I couldn't go too wrong taking it to my local Nissan Main dealer (mainly down to the fact I simply don't trust any garage local these days) and to be frank they weren't all that bad (I won't mention the fact that I had to wait a further week & 1/2 as their MOT machine was out of calibration :rolleyes: and they couldn't fit me in) …

Since having some indiglo dials fitted I have a few problems: 1) temp gauge works, but when the car is warmed it's sitting at about 75% and it always used to be bang on 50% 2) boost gauge isn't working at all What I don't understand is how the new gauges would affect where the needles end up pointing, but that's probably showing how much I understand about the problem :confused: Any suggestions please?

Hi all, Sorry if this has been asked before, but I couldn't find anything using the search or trawling through the threads. I have a SWB manual NA, Jap spec, with a burst radiator. From searching various sites, I see that certain TT radiators state that they will fit "with some modification". Does anybody know what is involved? I don't mind fabricating new brackets or making new mounts, as long as it ends up looking decent. Don't want it to look hillbilly if you know what I mean. If anyone can recommend a rad that gives a decent fit, or a stock rad from another model that fits, please let me know. Thanks in advance........ :nana2:

just had new turbo,s fitted at zedworld last week all seems fine, now theres a really nasty pong in tne car smells like transmission oil or brake fluid really stale pong (heater ok) ive allways had the petrol smell off and on especially cold weather but thats worse now, will do the talc test on lines, any clues what this stench is not exaggerating its awful thanks guys

Morning all! I need to replace my door mirrors as they are cracked and looking past there best... Will 200SX or S13 door mirrors go straight on seeing as they look similar or is the triangular fitment a different size??? Also will any other make of Nissan door mirror, ie skyline R32, R33 fit a Z32???? Thanks peeps! :bow:

not met before for example at a meet. how do YOU drum up a conversation thats doesnt make you sound like a boring shit! my hate is meeting people for the first time especially at meets cos i trip over my words and can't think of anything interesting to say. most conversations last about a minute and then im back to wandering around the cars generally embarrassed and try to avoid conversation again. its a bit of a social problem with me. i love the cars and im a total petrol head but to interact with the human race i find is the most difficult thing for me. think im becoming a agrophobic ! :shock: perhaps i just don't have must in common with most fo…

Ok so after a few weeks trying to source a gearbox and ordering one for £350 which didn't arrive after two weeks and finally getting my money back and finding another low mileage one (30k miles) almost fitted when the gearbox chap tells me the starter is well and truly ****ed!!!! Another two days after i should have had the car back he gets a new starter (as the old one was not refurbishable!!!!) and fits it. Tells me it's all ok and engaging in all gears ok. Good news is it's now very quiet and as the old one sounded like reverse in 1-3 i am very pleased! However he did tell me he found a very small piece of metal on the drain plug which is something …

ive recently changed my idle valve gasket as it was leaking, also done drivers side 02 sensor, now my car nearly stalls when pulling away, is jumpy when foot of the gas when cold, also nearly stalls when i put the clutch in from highis revs (revs drop right down then jump back up again) now the strange thing is, the revs when ticking over can sometimes be low, then sometimes high (around 1700RPM), also ic can be low then it starts to slowly creep up i didnt reset ecu or do anything else when i done the repairs, do i need to????? when it stops raining i will get the consult on it

Thinking about getting some 19in Kahn wheels. Spoke to Kahn and they tell me to use 8.5 all round, 9.5 won't fit on the rear. Is this correct? I notice most people here are using staggered sizes. They told me the offsets are between 33 - 38.

Mine is a Jspec and according to the online manual it takes 1.5 litres where as a European model takes 2.1 litres. I take it the European model takes more because of the cooler, am I correct ? CheerZ Paul
