The project can now finally move on to the next stage... seems like there may be a few similar builds emerging in the new year...

Our new NA arrived this afternoon and boy is she a beauty. The bodywork and interior is in even better condition than my own Z when I originally brought her over and she was an Exterior Grade 4.5 and Interior Grade B! The only exception is the rear spoiler which, like every other Z32 on the planet, has suffered from cracking due to the foam core/water problem, so I'll be taking that off in the Spring, filling the holes and getting her rear-end colour matched and the rest of the paintwork mopped to bring it up as good as new ready for Summer. The only serious problem that needs to be addressed is the misfire, but hopefully, with a bit of luck she'll be running …

Flicking through the channels and saw a couple of minutes of this on Channel 5. Saw a yellow Z with a high spoiler drive through at a "cruise". Think it was in Hampshire but not sure.

Hi all, As some of you know im still new to the zx world so bare with me hehe. Ive been looking on autotrader for a manual twin turbo. Hi, A week or so ago my driver side indicator stopped working intermittantly,i thought it was just a bulb at first but the fact it was intermittant made me think the contacts were damp, not had chance to look at it yet, i am working nights at the mo, came out to the car this morning and driver side headlight was on, no light switches had been left on though, the high beam indicator on the dash is also lit as though the indicator stalk has been pushed into high beam mode, i started it up, 5 mins of fiddling about switching light off/on etc and it went out. I drove home, parked up and it came on again, i could not get it to go out this time, i have had to pull the mul…

Hello, a freind of mine who owns a garage recommends that I get a treatment of waxoil done on the underneath of the car. He is offering to do it for free for me (or probably giving me the tools and gunk and saying do it yourself... ;) ) What are peoples thoughts on this? Anyone have it done?

Hi Guys Does anyone know if the rear brakes on a 300ZX are the same as a 200SX S14? I am looking at buying front and rear Hi Spec Brakes. They know the front brake requirements. But are not sure on the rears. If i can find out what they are the same as, they can manufacture the brackets without me needing to take the car down. Otherwise they will make on the car, which will cause me a problem. I wanted the brakes, before buying new alloy wheels so that i can get the correct offset. Currently i have standard 16" wheels, but the big brakes need minimum of 18". Any help appreciated. Regards Kev

Hi guys, just got my engine back in after changing the head gaskets and after linking it up to lap-top(via nissan datascan) i have noticed the seals have gone on a couple of the injectors and instead of replacing the seals im thinking of "up-grading" the injectors but have no idea what size to go for?? The car isnt highly modified other than a chip and exhaust but i do want to progress slowly so thought maybe start with the injectors?? Does anyone have any suggestions??

Hello chaps, been doing an inpection on my z while i'm waiting for parts to be delivered and noticed there is no harness connected to the rear windcreen for demisting. This is probably why it doesnt work lol. and i have no radio coz the guy before me didnt wire it up when he put the head unit in. i have 2 questions. there are four electrical connectors on the windcreen nothing is connected to them. 1. where is the harness usually located so i can get my rear window to demist and which connectors are they? 2. if there are 4 connectors does this mean that there is and ariel incorporated into the rear window, if it is i would like toi connect this …

Hey guys. Was just wondering if anyone knew what the differences were between the Splash shield on a TT and NA. I've got an NA but there's a seller on the australian forums who's bringing in New TT splash shields at a very good price (about half the price of a New NA one) so just wanted to know if there was a difference and if a TT splash tray bolts straight in with no mods? Here's the pic of the splash shield for TT And here's the NA one (or it may just be a pic of a TT one... not sure) These are the shields that bolt to the underside of the front bar and a few other spots under the car. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks Sande…

Hi, I've joined this site due a gearbox problem with a zx that I own. I sold the car in good working order but unfortunately it came back four days later with a so called "blown gearbox". I was rather surprised as a new one had been fitted in February and had only done a few hundred miles since. Basically the gearbox wouldn't take up drive and just made a nasty scraping sound like two metal plates rotating against each other. A few days later, I went to collect it and for some reason it decided to go into gear and drove ok but still with a bit of a sraping noise. The gear change isn't quite so smooth now and i'm wanting to sell but obviously cant while it drives as it d…

Ok we know that beemer drivers can be a twats at times but today I got another example of bmw idiocy, so im driving towards penzance on the a30 country road section doing 40 as its wet, when a beemer ( 330ci ) pulls right across me from the left from a junction forcing me to brake hard as he pulls in front of me, then he decides to pick up his speed very slowly and then races off into the sunset to piss me off, wonderfully I meet up with him again at the next roundabout which leads onto a dual carriageway, he does his slow as feck routine again all the way round the roundabout and on the exit nails it, I know I shouldnt of but I quickly high boost and decided to teach him…

Peeps, Does anyone know if any company makes a rear valance/bumper for a single exit exhaust. It seems that the aftermarket aero part companies only seem to faciliate for people with double exit exhausts, and i cant help but feel that with double exit valances leaves cars with single exit exhausts looking unfinished. Over to you guys and girls to see what you can come up with.
