Hi Everyone. I need some help. Im new to this site and hope some one local to me can help. I have just bought a Nissan 300zx non turbo on a G reg and the radiator has just blown. I am trying to source a second hand one just to get me by for a few months as the new ones are quite expensive. I have had qoutes of around £200 pound. With Christmas coming up i cant quite afford that just yet. If any one has a second had one or if anyone knows of where i can get one can you let me know. I live in Feltham west london ( Near Heathrow ) I am not expecting it for free. I will pay as long as the price is reasonable. Thanks for looking and thanks in advance to anyone can help.…

Can't find the info through search... I'm fitting a second hand Auto gearbox to my Z as mine is dead. I am going to need some oil (obviously) and oilman has given me an idea of what i need. Was wondering what others have used ?? and recomendations? How much do i need as i have an oil cooler ? Do i need to get a new gasget for the sump and a new sieve (filter) when fitting??? ok folks my new project (thinking off) can it be done ...has anyone done it? s 13 200 sx and fit a 300zx tt engine any info would be great i have a doner car (300) tt manuel damaged and a 200sx s13 manuel dont mind the work just want sumit to keep me busy 4 a bit :nana2:

Some of you may know (and most of you are bored of hearing about) I am off to Australia in the new year :hyper: Now the thing is, I will be getting another Zed in Aus but it will be hard to find a LWB as most seem to be shorties. What I would like to know is what are the the diferences of the two cars? Before you lot start to take the piss I mean how they handle, Audrey was a 2+2 and I loved the way she went around bends and felt good to drive fast, but what will I find with the shorty, are they more twitchy do they feel alot lighter. I'm having fun and games with my beast at the mo - in addiiton to having the dreaded 34 knock sensor fault its running at high revs - at 2000rpm when cold then drops to 1500rpm when warm - this feels too high for me - any suggestions? The revs also increase when i dip the clutch - any help from you guys would be greatly appreciated!! :hyper:

Has anyone got an odd Nismo alloy lying around!?! I know this is most unlikely, but you never know! I have badly damaged my rear 17" Nismo wheel, I believe they are quite rare. If anyone can help, it would be greatly appreciated. Cheers guys. :headvswal

Does anyone know where I can buy a double din bracket for a in car dvd system? Or does anyone have one for sale?

Whilst the rad was removed on my ZX I noticed the sponge padding that's around the base of the intercooler pipes.... now what's the general concensus about removing this? Would it allow the engine bay to release heat a tad more? eitherway I don't see any benefit of keeping it there?

we had the budget over here today and they hit the motorist big time, on a 3 ltr car the road tax is gone up 11% to 1231euro per year (thats 887 pounds) while we can import anything from anywhere as regards cars there is a vrt (vechicle registration tax) they have now added 4 more catagories based on emmissions all aimed at they bigger cc cars, we are being penalised because of all the suv owners :rant: :rant:

anyone know the stock size/thread/spline size of stock studs as I need to get some to fit with 10mm spacers(Assuming the stocks would not be long enough) I have found 12mm spline and 13mm spline both on m12 thread which would it be? anyone know offhand cheers :duffer:

i have already tried under faq and search, and cant find definitive ans following a discussion on a forum over here, about tt engines (not zs) and when the turbos kick in, most seem to be saying 1st turbo 2-3000rmp and second turbo at about 5000rpms, i thought on the z they both kick in together, can anyone put me straight please

Just bought a CTek battery charger with an adaptor for the cigarette lighter Problem is the adaptor for the ciggy lighter won't fit. I'm guessing it's because the Jap cig lighters are different to UK ones. They don't seem as deep as normal UK ones. Can anyone confirm this. If they are different, is it possible for me to fit a UK version to my car?

hope somebody can help here, a lad along the road from me knocked on me door the other week asking if a knew a good mechanic as his fan/alternator belt had come off so I told him to pop along with the car tomorrow as it was lashing down and I had been drinking, the next night he brought the car along and said he would just leave it with me as he wasn't in any hurry to have the car back as he was going home to liverpool for the weekend so I thought great I'll leave it till sunday and do it at work in the dry and with a lift. so, whipped the other belts off, put the new belt round the crank,alternator and fan/water pump pulleys, tightend it up to the full adjustment and it …
