Hi Guys.. Well.. After having my specially made number plates for just over a year now (bought from a guy on here) without the blink of an eye-lid from the authority, today was the day that changed :(. I got pulled over for the following reasons: 1. Non British Standard Front Number plate 2. Non British Standard Rear Number plate I was given a warning and 14 days to change the plates to meet the British Number plate standards which isnt too bad as i could have got fined. Here's The Car: After having checked the current sizes of my Character Height, Width, Stroke and Space between characters there was only one requirement that was actually le…

The reliability of my digital clock seems to be getting worse and worse. I have done the repair on twinturbo.net and it was ok for 6 months but now it is going down hill. Is it worth replacing the resistor and trying it again or is always going to be FUBARed? How much do you charge for a 100% working clock? Will one of yours work forever?

Ok this is a difficult decision and i just want to see if its normal. New heavy duty clutch put in around 9months ago!Clutch has done about 3kmiles and not alot of raping it. When in traffic in town the pressure of the clutch becomes pretty heavy sometimes and becomes really twitchy at the biting point. also quite often in 1st when pulling away the clutch will squeal if i dont give it alot of Accel. Iv been informed its the pressure plate and its not big enough perhaps and its just the air squealing through. Is this correct or should i be more concerned about it than that?? As been told hefty job as they need to take the clutch out to get to the pressure plate…

ok i fixed the idle prob, was obvious coz of the leaky clutch booster so i just blocked the vacume pipe, another bodge until i repair the booster. BUT NOW AAAAHHHHH the door open warning light stays on constantly even tho the door is shut and if the door is open the warning light gets brighter, this in turn has disabled my stereo and interior lights, if i switch on one of the read lights they give out a tiny amount of light for about a second then nothing. if anyone has had this same prob plz plz help as i have enough problems already.

Ok, I'm sure you all remember me asking about ECU remapping. Well I just got hold of the previous owner but one for my car. I turns out that when he sold it, it was running perfectly and at about 380-390bhp the car was chipped by a specialist firm all the paperwork was supplied to the previous owner. I haven't seen any of it. The owner (Adam) said there was a box under the passenger seat which is not there now, so it looks like the arsehole(Mariusz the guy I bought it from) has removed it or one of the shitty garages he took it to did. So heres the thing can I just go out and get a sports chip as all the extra hard work should have been done and get it installed. Ac…

Hey all, Anyone out there got any usefull tips i should know while my car is off the road for the winter & garaged till March? This is the first winter i've done this and other than the obvious of disconnecting the battery and leaving the handbrake off so the rears don't seize, what else should i do? Also, as it's due an oil change i was thinking about dropping the sump off next year (before i start & move it) draining it all off, replacing the sump gasket and topping up with fresh oil & filter? Any help or advice greatly appreciated ;) Cheerz James

Its seems as tho when driving at high speeds my rear end is moving about and it feels scary, i want to get out my top speed but cant as it feels like my zed is drunk. i had the car up on a ramp the other day and the rear wheels have play from left to right, my friend is a mechanc and he said its the bottom ball joints on the wishbone but he is far from an expert and didnt even realise the hicas system existed. now i want this fixed but i dont want to fork out all this money on the wrong parts. how can i be sure where the problem is?

Ok following my idle problems my z is now idling even worse, its idling very unstable and goes lower than .500 rpm sounds like it will stall but it just moves about all crazy. yesterday i took off the sensors including the one on the air intake and cleaned them but i sprayed switch lube on them :S maybe this was a bad idea as now its idling lower than before when it was idling too high???? oo and i also just put on an induction filter this afternoon :) can anyone tell me what i have done??? The idle position switch (i think thats wat its called) seems to be in the wrong position as its turned as far as it will go anti clockwise, and if i position it c…
