Icy road + heavy right foot = one less Z on the road... Entering the M3 at junction 6 southbound, took it easy through the roundabout and left turn onto the slip road, got on the gas just as I straightened up and next thing I know I'm heading backwards into the verge. :headvswal Cars on the way home so I can inspect the damage in detail. Just found out the wife changed the insurance coverage from full comp to liability only two months ago as she was trying to reduce the premium! I'll put up some better pictures soon, I need some honest opinions on if it's worth repairing. After all the time I've put into getting it just the way I wanted it, my heart tells m…

Have been looking at buying an upgraded intercooler seen a few on ebay, firstly i saw this one which requires a lot of front assembly > http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=220178889795&ssPageName=STRK:MEWA:IT&ih=012 Secondy i saw these side mounted ones which look like a lot less work and less expensive too. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/IUpgraded-AL-Side-Mount-Intercooler-Nissan-90-96-300ZX_W0QQitemZ180193994667QQihZ008QQcategoryZ43808QQrdZ1QQssPageNameZWD2VQQcmdZViewItem What would you recommend???

Hi guys, not been on for a while(only in passing) due to personal reasons, and have been selling the zed since the summer, but now life seems back on track coupled with the fact im not prepared to sell up for a pitance, ive decided to keep her. my zeds always been reliable just had one or too small problems, one of which has decided to rear its ugly head earlier today(see help and advice section). so rather than sell ive decided to go for a bit of a revamp, so im getting rid of the leather interior, wheels and front bumper, if anyones interested please get intouch. so for now, watch this space! cheers si

I have been reading a few threads of engines going bang on track days and when drifting, and the answer always seems to be fit a dry sump kit. Who makes them? hw much are they? and are there any other benefits/drawbacks to having one fitted? Is it a big job to have one fitted?

I will start by apologising about the essay, i want to make sure i get it all down :) , My problems started a couple of weeks ago, driving home one night came off a rounabout and put the toe down a little and the car hesitated, coughed then farted its way into safe mode, I had to limp it home (2 miles) at no more that 2500 revs, first thoughts where ive buggerd it beyond repair because id never experianced "safe mode" before, i spent the next couple of days playing about with no joy, I then decided on a local auto electrican, he came out for diagnostics and found the maf had packed up and the dredded code 34 (knock sensor). I had a think about it and de…

Just mocking up the new plenum and intake and just about got the supercharger to fit. Inner wing needed a brief appointment with Mr. Lumphammer, but got about 1/2" clearance on s/c body now. Worked out how to fit everything apart from the intake pipe. The mismatch between the s/c outlet and the intake elbow is severe. Tried all my bends in metal and silicone but nothing anywhere near close. The diameter reduces from the intake to the s/c also. I was wondering if anyone had any ideas on anywhere to search on the net or anywhere for some really tight bends. Could be cast or plastic. Or any cars which have a really tight elbow fitted somewhere as standard. Ta.
