General Discussions - 300ZX Related

guys, one of the elements (if that is what you call it, basically one of the heated wires/lines that goes across the rear windscreen) doesnt and has never worked. Not a mega problem as it in not in a key area and any misting that is covered by that wire eventually gets cleared by the adjacent wires. Just wondering if there is an easy fix for this???

I have not had my Z very long and i have just brought a turbo boost gauge and do not know how to fit it can anyone help please. :confused:

Hi guys, just putting things back together and am not happy with the state of my coolant pipes at the rear of the engine (near the EGR valve - or at least where it used to be ;-)). It's the two larger bore pipes that are worst affected but most are pretty poor. Any help with the following would be appreciated: 1. Quite corroded at the ends and very rough around the sealing area but weren't leaking, would you risk using these pipes? ;-) 2. Can anyone supply Nissan part numbers and rough costs please? Well what can I say. Yesterday at 11.30 am I had to nip out to see a customer. I was only 800 yards from my place of business passing through some traffic lights when SMACK an off duty **** stable jumps the traffic light give way makers and crashers into the side of my white 300 tt. I just can not believe it really I can. The traffic police came never breather tested my self of the other office, Just had up pass over our details and left it at that. YES more new threads from myself. ok clutch has today just gone very stiff, its like a gym workout to hold down as i was stuck in loads of traffic a406 this morning :( and sounds like its making a wistle noise when pressed in? also hard to get in gear when cold, and whines when clutch is released?? help would be nice :)

I dont want to seem like im spamming these threads but my 300zx needs alot of work to get it to how i want it My 300zx idles diferently whenever it feels like it, sometimes it idles high sometimes low, i think it might have somthing to do with the ambiant temp as when its very cold like this morning it was idling very high 1.2rpm and i know its not the choke because it was idling high the whole duration but not as high as when i first started the car... sometimes it idles very low .750 im confused. Ok list of probs with my Z. Hopefully someone can sort. Why does the electronics illumination panel under the speedo read backwards??? Plus none of the lights work on it properly :( There seems to be a blowing on the left hand exhaust and a small clicky, tappet like sound but not. The sound is from the exhaust not the engine. Mine is a 92 TT Jap manual. Does it have cruise control? and if so how the f**k can I turn it on. I know I sound stupid but Until 3 months I'd never been near one of these cars, let alone drive one. I couldn't turn the window washers on until the garage showed me. LOL Is there anything that can repair or make good cracked leather?…

Can someone help me locate the gearbox mounts? And also how do i know when they need changing? my gearstick feels like it moving as i come on and off the throttle? but which mount to replace and where to buy??? i hate wobblyness when driving :confused: :(

Hi i just bought my 300zx turbo, always wanted one and now i have it... but im getting lots of diferent gearbox noises, first as i pull of in low revs and low gear i hear like a heavy vibration then it filters out quite quickly, secondly if speeding off in a low gear then coming off the gas i get lots of whining noise, thirdly i think my clutch release bearing is screwed as it makes noise when releasing the clutch. Im also finding it very hard to get it into 1st and second gear when the car is cold but as it warms up it becomes easy again. The previous owner said he just changed the clutch ??? Thanks
