Does any1 know of a uk supplier for this 3 gauge dash pod thingy?...

yes i know it looks pretty pants like that but i think with a little modification so it doesnt cover the top of the centre console it could look good! i have my carputer screen filling the double din area so i need a new place to house my 3 other gauges to complete my full dakota digital setup...

i am considering fabricating the 3 gauges into the area above the centre console, but individually like in the 350z sort of style but it will be a pita to make look good/stock...

im not keen on the windscreen pillar pod holders but any other ideas would be welcomed? and no frog style pods either ;)

Doesn't look like it fits right to me. I have seen better versions.

i agree, but i like the style of it. looks sleek and less in your face than other versions i have seen. the fitment can be modified to fit nicely and not cover the top of the centre console...

yea looking at the pic it looks like its to far forward and not fitting the curve of the dash right

looks like the very same one with a leather cover. the one i pictured is from an oz company but is no longer available so it could be ;)

fancy selling it?

the reason being is because its sat on top of a dash trim kit which is stuck to the centre console. it probably fits a lot better on a stock centre console. ;)

Where would i put my clocks then? Sorry no can do but when I makr my new on (after i'm divorced and have somewhere to work) I'll sell it then.

There is a new one coming out soon that is the same as the one in the 350z dash

and it is angled towards the driver. Will hold 3 52mm gauges I do believe

Heres one...(halfway down page)

Not a UK supplier but have heard good things about Greenline before now.

I deal with Greenline regularly so let me know if I can help. Price quoted on their website is excl. of transportation costs, import duty/vat and paypal fees.

Dan

I don't like those things one bit. Z32 dash has a cool easy-to-the-eye shape. Looks a mess with odds and sods stuck all over it.

This is the only way I'd have mine.

I have to agree with Si again

I don't mind the A-pillar pods but I'd still rather not have the stuck-on bits because I also like the natural shape of the Z32 dash.

Richard ;)

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:

Here are a few pics of the new dash pod unit

I started work on something similar, but I don't like the idea of it sitting on the top of the dash and not following the lines. PPS modifided Touleqocs dash to have three clocks sat like this, but they sat in the actual dash and far closer to the center pannel where there is an unused space infront of the heater box. They looked the dogs.

These also look too far up the dash so that quality clocks like Defi, Greddy etc would require the top of the heater box chopping into as they are much deeper than cheep clocks. I could be completey wrong, but I'd like to lets someone else find out first.

Si has a point though, but when I did mine it was to enable my Profec screen to fit into a modified center pannel and accommodate the Head Unit as well.

P.S. That is the nicest Dash trim I've ever seen who supplies that one?
