2.30pm Today (Sun 18th Nov), red with aftermarket alloys and lambo rear lights, at the road works on the A570 near kew roundabout. Only saw you at the last minute so did not have time to flash and i was not in my zed. I believe both me and my dad have seen you in the past and you flashed but i was not a member then. Was It You???

Bit of a 50/50 one here!!, i've removed the std recircs, and want to fit a Samco hose directly onto the lower intake pipe, (bore size is 34mm), now Samco unfortunately only do a 35mm or 32mm hose.... will the 35mm be ok with just a tight jubilee clip or should I get the 32mm Samco and squeeze it onto the 34mm pipe? , that's if it fits!!)

I just got myself a double din tv/dvd/radio gizmo. Its a full Double Din installation. I only just realised that the whole of the centre consul is a single piece fitting. Obviously there must (I hope) be a way of fitting a double din unit so for my first 'how do I' - can anyone tell me what to get or how to do it please?? Cheers

I have done a search and can't find anything for the service schedule/intervals for a Z32. I know the obvious oil change every 6k miles, but is there a proper schedule somewhere? e.g: 6000 miles: oil change oil filter change coolant change 12000 miles: as above with air filter 24000 miles: as above with fuel filter sparkplugs This is just an example, but does anyone have proper schedule?

:headvswal removing headlights to clean them today I stuffed some kitchen paper into top of both air intake pipes after removing the air filter and y tube so nothing would fall in there . Started pissing down halfway into the job so I started the engine to move it into the garage. Yes, you've guessed it, they've both been sucked in there :headvswal i've tried using a bit of flex attatched to the hoover to suck them back out with no luck. i'm almost too embarrassed to ask but where have they gone and how much damage have I done?

Hey Folks Ive had the stethopscope around the belt pulleys etc today to try and locate a rummble/vibration and im almost sure its the top idler pulley thats suspect with a noisy bearing,is this a dealer part does anyone know. I also appreciate realistically that to change it the tension on the belt should be slackened off via the adjuster but just wondered if it could be done without going that far as would have to remove lots more parts futher down to get to the tensioner Thanks Paul

I've just been out doing my rear brake pads and found the nearside piston seized so i cracked the bleed nipple to release some pressure and the nipples come away complete with threads. Is this a case a new caliper? I hope not as i'm already pissed off and have been loaded with the flu all week

Well I finally got my Zed. After about two weeks of searching and toing-and-throing between a Lexus GS300, BMW 7 Series, Mitsu FTO and the Zed. I sat down and made the decision. Took me a while to find a car I liked enough to buy but eventually got there. I now own a '90 TT in dark blue. It was owned since import by a guy named Paul in Aldershot before someone bought it and then couldn't afford to run it and so sold it within a couple of months. The car has done about 70,000 miles and (other than a mongoose exhaust (still catted surprisingly)) is pretty vanilla in terms of mods. However there are a few niggles that the seller didn't tell me about (even though …

When used on a Doolz set-up is the actual use in the pipework of a dummy AFM of any importance? because of the lack of space on my car I can fit the 2nd filter but only if I don't use the dummy AFM... the fact it serves no purpose other than maintaining equal lengh of the pipework makes me think it is not essential.... can someone confirm? Thx Lee
