my mate who owns a supra auto with a big tub conversion tells me that the local rolling roads will not dyno autos due to the kick down causing wheelspin is there a way round this or is it just the rr,s up here are useless :(

try and find a single wheel rolling road , this is one with a large single roller which the driven wheels sit on and the car is then securely strapped down and run

There is on his Supra...put it in manual mode and D with overdrive off. It will stay in 3rd then no matter what. Not sure if the Zed auto has the same thing.

no it doesn't so you can't really dyno them and even if you can the results will be wildly innacurate because of the convertor slip.

Was at an RR day at powerstation yesterday and the attempt at running an auto corvette was hopeless, get on the throttle at all and it drops and spins out, manage to tease it into top and floor it results in overspeeding the rollers. Can't see it being much different in a 300.

so do the non roller clamp on dynos work better with autos ,i seen them getting used by i think thor at jap fest this year

what about Dastek at Dalgety Bay? Is there not any chance that they can help ya?

Heard somewhere that their RR is supposed to be the most accurate in Britain
