Can anyone give me an idiots guide to fitting these?

Ok, had a problem with the rear brakes....keep on binding/locking turning the discs glowing red. Pads have been replaced and all pistons in calipers working properly....the problem has now been traced back to the rear balancing valve below the rear boot carpets i believe. Nissan want silly money for you...is it ok to source a 2nd hand one from a N/A or TT for my N/A?????

Seen today at around 3:20 this afternoon 12/11/2007. Was in the whit transit connect with the metronet logo on the side. Flashed my lights and waved and the young lady with the dark hair inside looked very confused. Darrell

As above, are there any ishues with fitting the Jap auto box to a uk car? Uk car has an oil cooler and doesn't have the power / hold buttons

After drooling over the new Nissan GTR :bow: (yes it shall be mine) I have to say that I think it is more realistically a sucessor to the Z32 than any skyline:- Consider this:- V6 twin turbo not an inline 6 2+2 coupe not a saloon Also the original z32 concept was proposed at one point to be 4 wheel drive so I say it is a Z not a GTR Anyway whatever at £32,950 (current price in japan) I am getting in line NOW

Yesterday I found the source of a little noise coming from the rear nearside wheel area. I have no idea how this happened, I have not had an accident or hit anything for ages!!! I doubt I will be able to replace just one of these Enkei wheels, so now I am on the hunt for some rims.

Ok... Ive posted once or twice about this problem but had no come back so I will try to explain it in a bit more detail! When I first fire up my 91 uk tt and drive off while cold the gears go 1-2 maybe to 3rd sometimes? and not 4th but when shes hot I have to boot it hard before it will kick into 4th then it works fine driving normal but when I boot it through the gears it goes 1-2 as normal then its goes 2-4 soon as it hits 4th it kicks back into 3rd strait away then winds up through 3rd then into 4th and will do this all day long this has been going on for nearly a year. I cant get the diagnostic test to work so have no idea of fault codes??? I have done a oil chance a …

I drive a 92 N/A import. It was incredibly cold this morning and when I arrived at work, the temp guage (15 min journey) only read 1 third the way up? After an hour I had to go to the dentist and drove for another 20 minutes, only then was it at half way? Does this spell trouble? I have heard the temp gauges are crap anyway?

My zed is in for some new discs and pads and exhaust then hopefully it will pass the mot. I have never felt so anxious with any other car i have owned in the past about passing an mot, must be the zed bug. Fingers crossed :hyper:

hello all one day i might be able to drive my car i have had it for about six months but not on the road yet :mad: till i get those little engine bits sorted have had code 34 but need to get 1 meg resistor to check wiring have just got a knock sensor from a zafira but still showing 34 so will have to check wiring from plug to ecu. has any body got this datascan software and cable i could get hold off :bow: please let me know peeps my place of living is hinckley leicester.

having problems with my n/a manual after ive driven it for a while if i pull up at say traffic lights it sometimes wont go into 1st gear and takes a while to find any gear it crunches and makes a grinding noise until it finds a gear.....is this my clutch cos it still pulls like a train and only seems to do this when its been run for a while its got a short shifter on too but this seems to be working fine if it is the clutch do i need to change the lot or just the faulty bit cheers in advance matty

Hello. Would anyone know where I could get replacement heater matrix hoses (The ones at the back of the engine) for an n/a? I realise that it is possibly only from the main dealer, but I was hoping for some samco ones if they were available. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Ade.

what combinations are out there. i dont have loads of £££ so i really ahve to work to a tight budget. my clutch seems like its on its way out so will need to get a shifty on if im going to keep the z on the road. cheers gaz

Half asleep last night at about 10 ish i was sat in my local McDonalds drive through getting some tea. Anywho, up behind me this low slung sports car arrived. Looking in the mirrors i thought "i know that shape..." No less than a Z31 NA 300zx had arrived behind me. I mean what are the chances!! There is a local one kicking about, but this was a different one looked really clean as well. Miserable sod didnt even come and say hello... bet if mine was a non turbo he would have ;) haha

Anyone know where I can get a set of these? mine have about 2mm of lining on them :nelson:

Can you just remove an airbag steering wheel and fit an earlier non airbag on or an aftermarket one??? :confused: I know you wont have an airbag if you do it but that is not a concern for me personally. :D
