What is the offset on the front and rear wheels of the standard 16" Z wheels?

Hi all, I started the zed up a few days ago and it seemed ok, but now and again it seemed to miss! I didnt think much of it as its been a while since i started her.Today i started the zed up it sounded lumpy like a subaru and ideas? regards dan

sunday afternoon heading down dual carraigeway towards Beighton/Woodhouse, had a veilside logo in rear quarter glass. You wouldnt have spotted me though I was in my Yaris...I go to my daughters most sundays over in Hackenthorpe and always take the Zed except this one time..doh

I have decided i want to upgrade my brakes. i have a set of cast iron TT calipers and disks the calipers need a refurb as some of the pistions are siezed!! i currently have the na aluminium calipers on my z . would i notice any difference with fitting the TT ones if i overhauled the calipers?

Good day everyone,,, I was wondering if anyone out there would like to do a manual conversion for me i have all parts from my donor car (still fitted), driving the auto at the mo with only 2 gears :rant: with no auto box faults showing so box must be knackered, please help anyone i have all parts etc just no room to work to do the conversion........free :duffer: :duffer: :duffer: to any takers lol......cheers Jay

Resprayed my scuttle panel, or at least that is what I was told it was called at the front of the car (the thing that goes from right to left and the windscreen wipers attach through it) but it snapped! Has anyone got one spare that I could buy as it looks fookin shocking!

Does anyone have a series 2 ptu or a decent series 1 in good order, i need to establish if mine is fooked, only need to plug in to know to order a new one. Is there anyway of bypassing the ptu, to establish if that is the problem. Im in west sussex, if u fancy a drive out, i will only need to borrow for a few mins. Ta Stu 07746 476085

Does anyone have, or have had and rectified a problem like mine, i cannot get the demister to work.........the two buttons on top of the heater control pod do the same thing, when either one is pressed it engages the clutch on the aircon pump is this right? When DEF is pressed the vents do not change the direction of the air to the screen, but does engage as i said the clutch on the Aircon pump, so when the car is warm there is lovely warm air being blasted out at demist speed but not at the screen, but then it eventally gets artic.........on AUTO the aircon works as it should, basically my problem is that the "gates", "paddles" or whatever you call them within the du…

Need to make a decision on this quite soon. Looking at getting Gaz adjustable shocks and springs. -30mm I think. Just wondering who's got this setup or anyone that's experienced it. Had wanted to go for either Eibach or H&R which are progressive rate wound giving a more supple ride over coarse ground. Wondering what the Gaz setup is like and how harsh it is over stock. Want a tighter ride of course, but don't want the car crashing and banging all over the place.

Don't think it was Yewcheck. I was going west bound and saw a yellow Z on the opposite carriageway. I guess it must have been about 8.45am this morning.

I've been jigging this around in my head for a while and i'm interested to see what other z owners think. I craved the 99spec look for years before i could afford it, but now i'm going through some sort of crisis. OK, rear spoiler is definitely an improvement on the spongey original and even the 94 replacement but i think the first z's out of the factory didn't have any at all. but the front, that's not so simple. pics won't really show this, anyone who's stood in front of a 99 spec and original front bumper parked side by side may agree. As some of you might had read over ther past 2weeks my Zed's been a bit poorly :nelson: and not running (at all!). Anyways, a huge thanks to many of you on here who have helped diagnose problems :confused: (inc. Andy Ishwerwood and Stu from Worthing!) but a special HUGE thanks to WOZZER and SILVERBULLET for driving all the way up to my place and spending a good few hours with me to fix the car!! I'm glad to say I'm back on the road (albeit with a few more upgrades to go!) and nothing has gone kaput just yet! :eek: After beating my head against a wall with not progress :headvswal I'm very very happy that there are still those out there willing to lend a hand…

tried every search option and failed. somebody on here rebuilt there engine and colour coded it . the plenum was powdercoated back and i want to find that picture please can anybody remember there name or give me a link to that specific thread, it was the completed rebuild picture. thanks in advance gaz :bow:

As above, my dads n/a zed has a small alternator prob (lights pulsate when running), there is a guy selling one in the for sale section but neither of us know if it will be ok on a n/a as the alt is coming from a TT. Anyone know??? Any help will be gratefully recieved. :)

OK. I have to make a decision and I am not sure what way to go. I know its my car but just for the sake of it what front should I finally use for the finished article? The (?strosek?) picture has been photoshopped a bit but you can get the idea and I have crystal clears now which will fit on both. thanks for your opinions. :D

Dear santa This year I have been a very good boy, ive worked hard, paid attention in school, passed my exams and been very good to all the other boys and girls. Would it be better for me to sell my car in Dec with 12months tax and MOT or in May with 6 months Tax and MOT? Its will be for a UK Spec TT LWB Manual, hoping to get £3k. Shall I hang on or sell with a full MOT.

Got my Mocul zcenter jap spec kit auto cooler Via DTA today (Nice 1 Dan :hyper: ) I have read through loads of past post and come to the conclusion of leaving rad cooler fuctioning and adding old engine cooler in series with it. I understand checking fluid levels after. What I'm wondering iss there a flow direction? If so where do I add the new cooler in series left or right side of radiator? Also what do I flush old engine cooler with before fitting it as new trans cooler? Petrol, meths, ATF suggestions please

im in the process of doing this but when i went to fit the pedal box i found that there is no studs on the baulk head for the pedal box to mount to is this normal ? ive done a conversion before but cant remember wehter they were there or not

Do the digital heater pods go wrong?? When i switch on the Fan Econ comes on?? is this right?? Then if you press the econ button it dosnt go off, Unless you press off but then it all goes off and it only blows luke warn air, and with it being cold im freezing lol!!! Also the choke 1st thing in the moring dosnt go off for abot 20min and stays around 1.5 to 2 rmp?? thermostat maybe?? If so where the hell is it?? cheers dave :bow:

Hi all my 112mph limiter has been removed as i checked it out on track mon with a gps. But my speedo is still running in KM?? I havent removed the limiter i think it was done in japan?? so does anyone have any ideas how to get the 180mph clock in as i dont want the 110mph it looks daft I had the same problem when i had my MR2. I tried a converter chip but it never worked so i had to buy some uk clocks Any ideas?? cheers

I saw a car yesterday that had a registration "++Z 32xx" with '+' as alpha characters and 'x' numeric. Was this an Irish registration? Is it possible for these to be purchased for legal use in this country as I would like to look for a personalised plate such as "DKZ 3295"? Cheers - Dave
