Help needed please.. Ever since owning my z it has had a vibration at about 35-55mph like the tracking is way out (which its not). The strange thing is that it only does it until the car has warmed up 5-10 mins then will go completely. Until the next time its driven from cold. Anyone experianced the same?

found this on ebay so sent him this message I am interested in this kit but from the pictures i see the front looks fine but the sideskirts on the blue Z on your ad is a widearch car , so what do the sideskirts on this kit look like, also the rear i see on the picture of the red car is a UK spec with the small opening for the number plate rather than the jap spec plate, is this a true representation of the rear valance.

anybody had much to do with these tubs , as i bough some a while ago from the usa via my dead mate jaypsc and believe they are bb type, but as they were secondhand and done supposedly 3k i had em stripped and inspected, and have decided to have the 360 degree cartridges fitted, question1,,is there likely to be any different spool up time is just the usa that prefer bb versus 360 and why? as my very experienced turbo specialist prefers 360 as being bullit proof but is that at a loss of performance?? rich

Got to nurse my Zed from Glasgow down to Z Tech in Swindon tonight! Leaving at 2am so as to arrive first thing and then its a bus to Heathrow and a flight back up north at 1300! Its another journey that i really could do without but after not having my zed for 12 months and then once i get it back being told not to drive it for fear of it going bang! it is an essential journey.

I have heard a relay clicking behind the speedo/rev counter the past few weeks. I does it with no throttle i.e. when slowing down. When the relay clicks on and off the car jerks quite a bit as if you are quickly dabbing the throttle. I have checked and adjusted the TPS, the voltage was .444 and I've adjusted it to .452. Only a small difference. I now can't hear the relay behind the dash clicking but my idle is now around 1600rpm. Have I done something wrong or does something else need adjusting ? Does anyone know what this relay is for ? should the relay be clicking on and off depending on where the throttle is ? CheerZ Paul

I'm hoping someone on here knows DaFox. The guy who owned my car in the sig before Spongey. I know he had some paint done on it in the past and at the moment my paint guy is having trouble matching up the colour. I thought it was a pearl but now he thinks it could be an effect white. Any hints on how I might be able to contact him would be appreciated. Cheers

I'm having this small tippet noise on my 27K miles TT, I understand it has been sitting for 3years now but with regular engine warm-up at Export dealer's garage. I have change the engine oil with a Pro S Silkolene 5W-40, I can still hear this tippet noise though not as much as before but would like it to stop altogether Any ideas on how to resolve this issue short changing the tippet? thanks

Guys just a thought. I am trying to solve an intermittent problem with my speedo. And figured it would be useful reference material if I could raise thge back wheels off the ground and bench test the speedo. The car is currently on a SORN while I sort out the work and I dont really want to be fiddling with wires out on the road!! However in order to do this I need to know what speed should be registered at various revs in each gear. So what I was going to suggest when you guys are out and about if you can note the following info for various revs and I will collate and post up for future reference: - NA/TT - JSpec/UK - Manual/Auto - Year - Gear - R…

The turbo seal has gone on one of my turbos and is leaking oil which makes some excess smoke come out of the exhaust. So I was going to replace them probably with standard ones as I cant afford upgrades at the moment, but what else would I need when replacing them? Do I need some gasket kit etc? Thanks

OK ignoring teh engine as this is pretty much covered, from the flywheel to the rear tyres, what would be the ideal setup for a trace/raod/race car. Not drifting as the rear diff would be useless on the roads/track. So off the shelf what options. A: Cost not and Option B: Realistic budget. (£500 per item) So we have Flywheel, Clutch, Gear Box, Prop, Diff and anything else I am forgetting. Lets try and get facts only as I tend to find that hearsay and forum rhmor tend to not hold true in real life. I was thinking of Fidenza fly RPS MAx Sport OSGiken gears z1 1 peice ali prop OSGiken DIff
