well, its worth its scrap value and the value of the plate... So if the plate is worth £1200 its worth £1200

It starts, so its not totally ruined... Not a bad effort for any Zed, the whole turning the engine over, injectors injecting fuel and pistons going up and down is quite an achievement ;)

It would be a risk! But if you had alot of time on your hands and wanted a project i would say go for it!

I didnt realise that... so why do you need an MOT?

What happened with all the old scrapped cars where we get our private plates from today??

I was always lead to believe, the car needed an mot for a number to be transfered. Im sure Kirbz lost his due to this. I guess they are lost, unless the DVLA once a car is scrapped claim them, then re issue them.

yes, thats right. you need a valid MOT certificate to be able to transfer the number.
