My mate Steve has entered his 240Z for the Croft Round of this years Time Attack series after a reasonably successful initial session at Brands Hatch in June. I will be in the pits looking after the car and driver. We were "testing" last week at Croft in preparation. If anyone is attending this event pop in to see us during the lunchtime pit walkabout.. Pits picture is Brands. Track pics are at Croft

Hello everyone, I have a '90 TT with the full automatic heating system. It's working like it should but I was wondering, would it be possible to (easy way) convert it to the later system where you can choose blowerspeed and blowdirection? Would it only take the ecu to change or is it much more complicated than that? Mike

I had the rear subframe out and replaced the bushing with poly bushings and on all the other suspension parts also and installed ksport coilovers. I just thought the ride was this harsh because of the ksport. But it was still harsh when installing original dampener and spring. So thought maybe the dampener was done for. Replaced with some new eBay dampener. Still harsh as hell. Bought and installed powertrix coilovers. Rear still harsh/hard as hell. Front is fine. Questions is can I have done something wrong with the bushings?

Hi Guys, Well its been a while but my beloved zed has been sleeping quietly in the garage underneath an indoor cover, but unbeknown to me has been rusting without me knowing, really annoyed. ( how its rusted in an indoor garage is puzzling me ) first sign is a fuel tank leak, so began the process of removing the rear tank, looking under the rear arch behind the bumper, it has rotted through, this has been repaired before but again has rotted through, does anyone have any pics or experience with repairing this section? looking under the zed it looks like I will be dropping the subframe and using a product called POR 15 http://www.frost.co.uk/se…

Came across these. "Out of stock" and no reviews so maybe they were never actually produced, but is there anything similar out there?

I need to replace all 4 speakers as some of them don't work and they are poor quality. I can see that the rear ones are 6x4 but not sure on the fronts as I've not removed the door card recently. Does anyone know what the stock front jdm speaker size is for a 91 model? Also, any recommendations on what I should replace them with. I'm not wanting to spend to much and don't really want to modify anything... Just a straight swap will be good:)

Hi all. I have recently purchased a new aluminium radiator and fitted it. However it seams to hold a pressure when cold. I have taken off the overflow pipe to the expansion tank and blown down it but can not get any air to flow down it. My question is that is this pipe blocked thus not allowing pressure out? (or does it have a valve?) Should it be free flowing? Thanks Mike

Big thanks to Jim and his team at Powerzed.:clap::biggrin: She's been with Jim to have a fair bit of corrosion repair - the sills, rear arches, metalwork underneath the rear bumper, front wings, front rad crossmember. Undersealing, cleaning up underneath, quite a bit of work! & quite a bit of paint work too, not much of the car left that didn't need paint, so it had a full respray! & a new windscreen. Twinz front bumper and rear diffuser fitted, front splitter and sill lips things to go on soon. Engines had a major service, cambelt etc, boost controler fitted etc, suspension parts, shocks, bigger discs and refurb caliper's fitted. Rest is …

going to upgrade my coilovers as the current set up is allowing the tyre to rub on the widened overarch when going over bumps and undulations in the road, ( body mech fitted them for me ). In fact currently I have a 2 " gap between the tyre and arch lip, so im wondering if I need coilovers with adjustable stroke length, anyone got any good ideas ??

Hi ...apologies for the last thread ...OK..I will subscribe straight after this promise ...... I would like to mimic as close as is possible the rear boxes and dual tailpipes on each side for my UK spec 300zx .....I would like to know the diameter and the length of the exhaust tips themselves along with where they sit in relation to say the rear bumper if you was to have a square line down to the floor from the back of the bumper if that makes sense ? MAybe if someone has the time a couple of close up pics from the side and the rear showing how they sit in relation the the scollop on each side ...I would gladly ping someone a tenner via PayPal for their time ...apologies …

I'm just curious really. I've been changing several suspension bits on the car lately and I noticed the springs on these don't seem to have held up too well so wondered what others are like:

Amateur mistake and not marked where I got these bits from! Been so long that I can't figure out one of the pieces. Fitted driftworks polybushes, hence the large 3mm metal washer (which I assume goes on the bottom side of the bush). From the diagrams I have and memory, I know where the member stay goes, so from the bottom I have the nut > member stay > washer > bush/subframe. My question is, what the hell is this other thing I've refurbished? I'm sure I took it off here.. I've tried fiddling but can't figure out where it's used. It doesn't fit nicely between the member stay and the washer/bush, but has circlular mark the perfect size of the nu…
