Will this fit my 1995 Z... Airbag of course... I'm about to pay, we agreed upon a price and would my airbag components transfer to that wheels airbag? Read his description of item please! Momo Autech It's a nice looking wheel and supposedly will fit since it's an airbag aftermarket made for Nissan. The design of the grips are nice and it'll be nicer upgraded looking feature too & have it wrapped if needed vs wrapping OEM. What is your opinion? Is this a direct bolt on wheel without modification since it's a Nissan steering wheeL Thanks!!!

As most of you know, I have a pair of Recaro Speed seats fitted in my Zed. These were actually an option during the Z32's production run and, as such, are sort of "period correct." What are peoples' thoughts on changing them for a newer model of Recaro...? Maybe a pair out of an Evo 9, or even an Evo 10...? Should I "modernise" the cabin, or leave things as they are to retain a little authenticity (well, as authentic as red leather can be!)...? Go.....

As I have dropped the rear sub frame I would like to renew as much as possible. One of the things are the 2 CV half shafts (drive shafts). In the us there is a company who remanufacture them unfortunately they stopped doing so for the 300zx. Do any of you know if there is a company in the UK who has new or remanufactured ones? Thanks Peter

I've bought a Zed thats had a light(wish) front knock and is now suffering from a starting issue. Basically its starts for a few seconds and then stutters and cuts out, the engine seems ok when it is running so, I suspect that its a vacuum issue or something along those lines. While investigating I noticed that the recirc valves have been removed and capped on the inlet pipes but, there are still open pipes on both sides coming from the tubs in front of the rad. Could this be the cause of the issue? The car was an insurance write-off so maybe its been raided and the after markets BOVs have been removed. This pic might explain it better...

I've just fitted a new gear knob and the gear gaiter doesn't suit the knob. The ring at the top of the gaiter is too large and sags. What gaiters have people purchased to tidy up the look? Cheers.

After finally starting my engine the other week and getting it mot'd on Thursday. I have been trying to use it yo get some miles on it. I'm now due my first oil change Noticed when driving my temps are pretty good.. water temp 75-77 deg c rising to 80 in traffic. And my oil temperature 60 deg c... the oil temp is what I want to check. Currently using mineral running in oil. Is that a good temperature? Obviously no boosting so temps will be lower. . Took it for a nice drive through the new forest today. Them temperatures were stable the whole journey. Drove great.. Had a couple of puffs of smoke out of the exhaust but I can expect that right? Engine onl…

After a few months of waiting (and hoping) the Zed has finally sold! So with that the time has come to bid my farewell to the club and scene after almost 10yrs. I'd like to say an absolutely massive thanks to everyone on here who has, over the years, offered up help and advice with all the issues that come with the territory of owning one of these fantastic cars. Without you I would have thrown in the towel much sooner and without ever having had the chance to experience the joys of owning and driving the 300zx. This car has taught me so much and has given me some exceptional experiences and some exceptional friends. I wish you all the best and the club a successful futur…

I just got done on an engine rebuild and I think I have gotten to the point where I need help. I can't seem to get her to idle well. It wants too but IDK where to start. It dies out at anything under 1000rpm, so I can't get the CAS timing correct causing some back firing. any shop you would recommend would be great. I feel an hour or two in the correct mechanics hands would get her running perfect. Thanks

Hello! So today I am investigating my decat install and wondering how on earth this works... I have the car lifted on stands and have been checking out teh bolts. I have a japspeed style decat pipe to try out. It is stupidly tight in there so I am probably going to fail at this, but will giev it a shot... My bolts all look pretty rusted, but I will try and save them with some WD-40 and a wire brush. These bolts appear to be fixed into the elbow pipe, in that there isn't a bolt head that I can feel, is that right? So it is just a case of releasing and working on the nut and thread?

Finally, I have found the reason for my intermittent fault with my Dim-Dip lighting. After what has been a painstaking search of the wiring, I tracked the problem down to a corroded connection (what a surprise) to the Dim-Dip unit itself. One wire was barely connected, and fell off when I touched it, and another did not need much encouragement to break off either.

Could anybody tell me where the cruise control actuator plugs in under the bonnet. My car is made from 3 different zeds. The shell is a 1990 jdm import. The engine and harness are from a 1995 import which did not have aircon. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The fear is real. Working on my Z project, pumping in a fair bit of £ to the rear, but now onto the front of the car. It needs welded, I know a good guy, but would be easier for everyone with pre-fabricated panels for the sills. I've seen all the posts for rear panels, but are there any available for the front? Pictures of a hole in the side of the drivers floor pan after prodding with a screwdriver, and the side skirt which is a write off too. The paint is my own doing. And don't worry, the jacks aren't under the sills, got two at the cross member, and two at the chassis Cheers!

So I have found a oem low level rear spoiler to replace the rubbish one in my Zed. Any one know the best way to fit it? The tail gate has holes in it from what looks like the original spoiler and a long slot in the tailgate also. Do I just glue it on or is there special fixings available?
