So, I have a leaking heater matrix, and short-term (until I can get up to Jimmer @ Powerzed) need to block it off. I have seen many threads on bypassing the heater matrix with a short length of hose 5/8" in dia. So where is the best place to get this dia of hose and how long does it need to be? Cheers!

My interior mirror is starting to deteriorate around the edges as usual, but as I have a mint interior in the zed it bugs the life out of me, what are the options here? Ideally a new oem would be preferable but are they still available?

As above. Even though the car has had an alignment the wheel is not central in the arch. That's kind of miss leading, what I mean is both rear wheels aren't equally distant from the fore and aft of the arch. There's about a 5mm discrepancy with the passenger side sitting slightly further back, visually at least. Ideas?

Hi - my zed is in the great hands of jimmer at the minute replacing the engine with a doner - the engine is complete with all injectors, turbos, exhaust, nistune ecu and smic. The car was mapped not long back by Noel. I don't have the dyno run for it for the time of mapping so just wanted a power run to give the power output once completed. There is a place in devon that does rolling road tuning and power runs but have not had a good experience there before and don't think they know the zx that well - if I just wanted a power run could they mess this up - don't want them tinkering once jammer has worked on it - long winded I know but are all dyno done the same i.e would g…

I realise this isn't a simple question, but can anyone provide an estimate of how much I might get for my Zed in it's current condition - All of the paint has had a reaction (a delayed reaction by months!) and now looks terrible. I thought the tailgate and bonnet had escaped the reaction, but they haven't... All that work for nothing. It means repainting the whole car, and what's to say it wont happen again. I'd have to rub down almost back to bare metal. Just when I could see light at the end of tunnel and might get to actually drive my Zed. It's really pi**ed me off, and afte…

I've have been meaning to take the kids to Marsh Farm for a while so when I saw that they have an annual Motorfest, I thought it would be a great opportunity to combine a day out that the kids will enjoy, with a car show. I booked a slot to show the Z so hopefully the weather will be kind to my family estate model Z!

So as some of you know from a couple of previous threads my black NA Nissan overfuels (Hesitates for a split second when middle to harsh accelleration is used). I know the timing is out thanks to conZult, so ill get the belt done, I also know the cats are shot, so ill get some decats to solve that. My question is about injectors (hence the title ) Would a broken or leaking injector cause my overfueling/hesitating problem? Recently it seems to have got worse but not all the time. Yesterday I drove to work and it was normal (as in normal amount of hesitating and over fueling i.e what its always been like) I drove to the petrol station during lunchtime and reversi…

Right guys, just testing the water, who here would be interested in Big Brake kits?? I've got myself 6 piston Brembo fronts with 4 piston rears including brackets, hardware etc, they fit to the 370z 355mm fronts and 350mm rears discs, I can also source these. My contact reckons a group buy of 10 sets, I can source Porsche, AMG 8 piston and other large 6 and 8 piston fronts with 4 piston rears, haven't got a price as such yet, but would probably be close to £1500-£2k, these kits direct from Brembo and the likes retail at £3-£4K would anyone here be interested if I got the ball rolling??? Fronts comparison Rear comparison Full kit On a Ze…

It's that time of year again where the Zed's insurance is up for renewal. I'm currently with ClassicLine and they'd like £322.58 to insure her for the coming year. I keep seeing people boasting about how they can insure their Zeds for £150 a year so I thought I'd give Footman James a try... For a start, they don't recognise this club as being a valid one! I'm assuming that I'd need to be a paid-up member of Z Club or something? And I couldn't get a quote from them anyway as apparently the Z32 is no longer recognised by them as being a classic and, even if it was, the modifications would stop them quoting anyway!! So who do people use? How much do you p…

Hi! I've been trying to find used z32 drive axles to my z32, but no luck yet.. Is there in UK a good parts shop where I can find used drive axles (or smartly priced new ones) to my z32 1990 NA 2+2? And the shop should be able to send them to Finland. Thanks!! Brgds Mika

eBay link to an NA auto Advertised as a twin turbo and it looks like people are bidding accordingly. But I fear the engine bay is a little less cramped than it should be... I've taken the liberty of sending a message recommending that the seller correct the listing, but I can't imagine that's going to happen somehow.

Evening all, After having my zed back on the road for about two days, it’s now back off the road. Although this time it’s for planned maintenance. When I purchased the car I was made aware of a small oil leak from one of the valve cover gaskets. I started the process of removing the plenum yesterday, but was held up by crappy weather and an injector connector. Today I managed to get the plenum completely off and replace all four valve cover gaskets and half-moon (or half-circle) seals. Anyway, the reason for this thread is because I noticed one or two things I was unsure of when I had the plenum off. Firstly, the plenum seemed to have quite a bit o…

Apparently some folks are kicking a bag of air around this evening. Last time this happened, the roads were lovely and quiet! So who's not watching people kick a bag of air around and using the empty roads as an excuse to take their Z out?

I'm half way through removing my plenum and I'm being held up by this injector connector. Anyone know where I grip/press/pull in order to get this off. It appears to be a different style to the rest of my connectors.
