Guys, I have been back through previous threads but I am struggling to find my answer? Where is the best place to buy and should I be looking at any sort of upgrade? My main goal is reliability and although I gather that series 1 370cc injectors were upgraded on later models, the series 1's have lasted a long time up to now. Options please and where to buy?

Ok, so I have this plug coming from the passenger floor - But I have a fairly meaty connector on the passenger seat - The seat isn't heated (there were heated seat right?) but it is fully motorised. Normally I'd just cut the the plug off and 'hard-wire' it, with spade connectors. However, there are three thick wires on the seat side and only two thin wires on the car side, which is a bit odd. Oddly the drivers side is fine, big connector to big connector. The original seats (assuming they were original) only had a motorised 'power' seat on the drivers side. Given the thickness of the wires on the seat, I…

So as some of you know, for the last year or so I've been rebuilding my Z after having an engine failure at Vmax back in 2012. The aim of this rebuild has been to make the setup more efficient and rectifying what I believed contributed to the engine failure. The physical engine rebuild was completed late last year and it's been on and off the dyno (over 1000 dyno miles and 280 litres of fuel) since the beginning of the year. The main source of my issues has been around fuel delivery and maintaining fuel pressure. After going through a couple of fuel pumps and fuel pressure regulators (all of reputable brands like AEM, Tomei and SARD) and testing my Nismo 740's to fin…

Hello, So I am building a sub into the floor of the boot, and am almost at the point of putting the bottom on the box. Now I am wondering if there is any reason not to just fit the sub box sides directly to the boot floor? This would save the weight of the wood, and also create quite a solid base to the box??.. Would it cause a log of reverb through the chassis perhaps muddying the bass?

So I have just removed them in an effort to simplify things further. Have I done this correct. Actuator to pressure side intake hose with boost jet in. Turbo intake nipple blanked off. Repeated both sides. Thanks. Mark

Is Turbonoz still trading? I've tried email twice and the phone numbers here and on his website, no reply. Any other dealer/trader I can buy an ECU chip from for my NA Z?

Probably a really stupid question but I'd rather look stupid asking it than getting it wrong. Are the door mirrors the same on the 2+2 and SWB? Thanks

Hi, I need to replace the MAF on my 300, but have come up with varying products (with different prices) at different places and have no clue what the differences are likely to be. Examples: https://www.z1motorsports.com/intake-mas-and-hoses/nissan/new-oem-300zx-mass-air-flow-sensor-meter-mas-maf-p-1752.html http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/like/141910316101?limghlpsr=true&hlpv=2&ops=true&viphx=1&hlpht=true&lpid=122&chn=ps&googleloc=1006674&poi=&campaignid=207297426&device=c&adgroupid=13585920426&rlsatarget=aud-133395220866%3Apla-131843259426&adtype=pla&crdt=0&ff3=1&ff11=ICEP3.0.0-L&ff12=67&a…

After 6 Years my Z is finally coming out of retirement but, it deserves some new wheels. I'm looking to fill the arches without any crazy camber or intense arch work. The wheels will also need to fit with the 350z Brembo callipers and coilovers I'm fitting. I won't be going crazy low. What are you thoughts on these? 18" 9.5J Wheels with a offset +25 19" 9.5J Wheels with a offset +12 I'm happy to add spacers if needed. Cheers

Ever since my car was painted I always thought the fine swirls left behind was unacceptable, I think the paint shop did a great job but I feel it just needed a bit more attention for perfection. I first noticed it when I got it home on the trailer (in pieces) as the sun shone brightly on the car highlighting very fine swirls. Before the NEC show last year it was my intention to get a professional paint correction carried out on the car but never found the time to organise it. Ever since it was painted, I have been using improper "restricted water washing" techniques or even worse "waterless washing" which has compounded these fine swirls. The paint still looks a…

I am after the FairladyZ emblem off of a S30 (https://www.z1motorsports.com/aero-and-body/nissan-motorsports/jdm-s30-fairlady-fender-emblem-metal-p-4453.html) and the cheapest option is from Z1 but can't justify solely buying the emblem and paying delivery.. Thus I'm asking next time someone has a bigger order if i can tag this in and then give you the money for it, and a some extra for the troubles then separately deliver to me from the uk which i will cover. Thanks OR, if theres a number of people who need bits and pieces, i could be the middle man, anything to lower the cost of that delivery for everyone

Currently the 300 has a Thatcham Cat 2 immobiliser fitted. It had it when I bought the car, and in all honesty I have never been happy with it and having looked at the wiring for it, it has clearly been installed by a complete muppet. As such I am looking to rip it out and replace it (although I will get someone to do it for me to ensure the cert gets signed etc). SO what do people recommend? I don't need a tracker, just a half decent kit.

I finally decided to improve my listening quality inside the Z specially on my long weekend drives along the coast. I am not going into deep heavy stuff like subwoffer etc..I would never drill a single hole on my Z. But after digging around a bit, I finally decided to go for these products. https://www.amazon.co.uk/Alpine-CDE-193BT-car-media-receiver/dp/B01956EWYO http://www.alpine.es/p/Products/type-g-speakers375/spg-17c2 I been told that at least it´s going to improve the sound quality and most of all this radio will help me to tune into us stations into my app Iphone using my annual vpn. please really need your advice on this, anyone has alpine and wha…

My Z is due to go in for a complete body haul and respray in a couple weeks and i am half minded to try and widen the rear arches a bit to give a bit of unique styling. something like this grabs my eye.. I would only want to widen the rear though as don't want the car to look chubby.. Any thoughts on this?

Wondering if anyone has seen any of their parts and knows what they're like? http://www.ionicdynamics.com/ProductsNEW1.html Came across them the other day, haven't heard of them before but that doesn't really mean much! Not to everyone's taste of course but I adore the roof spoiler they do, have seem similar designs in the past but never anywhere that sells them so pleased I found somewhere for future reference! Also I think I've seen it said before that it's difficult to find late spec side skirt replicas? They've got some! No idea what the shipping would be like of course, but the prices seem good.

When I bought my 300 it had in a Momo Race wheel which I just never got on with. As a temp measure I installed a 350z wheel that I had spare from my Z33 ownership days. It's worked fine, but I always wanted to put in a Series 4 wheel as was original to the car. Anyways, I now have a Series 4 wheel. This is where the problems begin.... I know that the "AirBag" warning light from behind my dash cluster has been removed (guessing when Momo wheel was installed). And some of the spiral wheel wiring has been *******ised. That's fine, I can sort the wiring out. Problem comes when not knowing if the crash sensors are all working ok. I don't fancy p…
