Simply out of curiosity, what are people's Zed's mileage at and how much do they do every year? Mine is 46k miles, which compared to daily drivers is quite low for its age. The use of these cars is obviously very different, generally being a weekend car etc, or just locked away in a garage.

Gumtree link I appreciate that the mileage is low, but do we think £7.5k is a realistic price....?

I'm going to be running 550 injectors, GT525 turbos, Greddy intercoolers, Selin Dual maff and a full 3" turbo back system. CZP have a variety of pumps, so wanted to make sure I got the best one for my mods:thumbup1:

Well after spending a long time getting the car up to a decent standard I thought I show a few bits to go on that should help a bit in the performance department. I have a selin complete with new apexi filters, greedy boost controller, 550 injectors and a replacement injector sub loom. All ready to go on as soon as I get back

Hi Guys, Have a noob question here. Where do you go for OEM parts? I’ve checked the traders section on here and while MJP Eastern is listed as a supplier of OEM parts, they didn’t seem to have much to offer on their website. At the moment I’m after a plenum gasket. I know I can get one from Z Centre, however £12.00 (+VAT) seems a bit steep. Is there anywhere else I could look to get OEM parts, such as gaskets, for this and future jobs?

So, been putting some of the blue car back together and I'm not too sure what to do. The previous owner had done a bunch of custom stuff, like brushed metal buttons and things. I'm trying to decide whether to go with it or return some of it back to stock. What do you lot think on this? Might make for an interesting debate.

So after finding out my zed needs new turbos and is rusting through again despite being welded up twice (before I owned it) in the last 4 years I've decided to cut my loses and get a fresh import. Well, to try anyway! The paint is rubbish in general so by the time I pay for all of that I could import one with half or even a third of the mileage! And in white :tt1: precisely the wrong time to decide this as I'd just ordered $1000 worth of stuff from czp and a load of stuff from baz, ah well! gazwoz has said he'll keep an eye out for me, but I like to be proactive. Chance discovery whilst out in the M6, pulled over and took a few picture`s, European spec. of course with leather and 5 speed manual, not as clean as it could be but certainly stood out from the euro-box dross that proliferates here. Jeff

Anyone have pictures of the Z32 engine bay in Black, with a non-black body colour ? I want to paint the engine bay when I pull the engine, and while Im 90% sure I will keep the body Bayside Blue, there is a small chance I could have a colour change. I dont want to paint the engine bay in Bayside blue, only to end up with a different exterior colour. So....Black engine bays, probably like a satin black ?

What started off as a minor niggle has gotten considerably louder. I can hear it best when I open the door of the car, at idle. When driving it appears to disappear altogether. The only way I can describe the sound is a gargling or liquid. I originally thought, cooling system but I’m now really unsure. Any suggestions? Cheers

I've had nearly 6 years of faultless zedding and now its all gone wrong ,japfest took its toll on the old girl and the passenger window switch is playing up !

Il pop up some pictures later if I get time but I'm after some advice as to how I got it wrong. I painted my bonnet last summer, first time using a gun an compressor. Using 1k paint. I keyed the original paint to the primer then applied a layer of primer from a can, then the colour then two coats of clear. After some wet sanding I was really happy. Few minor things like a fly and I over sanded one corner. First few weeks were great. Then winter came. The paint was suddenly ruined. The car lives under a cover. Hello all need some advice. After many years I am finally going to start to get the car back on the road. The car was taken off the road when the clutch release bearing went in 2006, bought a replacement as well as new lightened flywheel and upgraded clutch, but many things got in the way of doing the work (lost job, owning money when back at work, repeat several times, and a drop in interests at times). So, I just replaced a wing mirror from a different Zed, and I seem to have different connections - Did the mirrors change at all between years, or do I have the wrong plug? I don't think I do, it's the only one it can be, or can find.

Hi, I just took delivery of what I thought would be a QH water pump. I did my research and believed QH to be top quality. It turns out the pump that arrived is NPW. Can anyone reinforce or correct the below statement from the seller; 'No, it i is not a mistake the unit supplied is a QH boxed product. NPW manufacture the unit for QH. That is how they are supplied from QH. All the Japanese replacement units are supplied to us in that manner. We have sold just under 200 units this year for Japanese models and to date we have not had any returned as faulty. For the last couple of days, I've had what was once a dream car parked on the drive: a Supra Aerotop TT6. :) I wanted one of these for the longest time, but the only market that got the manual box in an Aerotop was the USA, so it would've meant a manual conversion or buying one that'd already been converted.
