Past week a friend of mine has repaired my rear sill wich were a bit rusted. Most of the rust has been cist out an the rest has been treated with rust-stopping products. Everything has been redone with wax afterwards :-) Below, pic's of the work.

I am about to purchase an alloy rad for my auto (cracked at the top), but I will be doing a conversion at some point. Could someone please advise if I should get a manual rad or an auto? I was thinking get a manual and T piece the gearbox cooling pipe into oil cooler hose for now. Or do I get the auto and block off the extra outlet...

Reading through some old threads the other day, I unexpectedly found a previous owner of my zed, so naturally I did a bit of digging! And found out some quite worrying things... Looks like it had major welding done TWICE (for some reason?!?) As part of the cars ongoing refresh I'm replacing all the crap or under performing bits. The 501 LEDs in the JDM sidelights were old ones I had lying around and are practically purple. So anyone got any RECENT experience of the best ones to buy. Looking for ones with a colour output similar to my 4300k Hids.

Hi all Looking to get my interior tidied up. 1. Any recommendations on someone to help repair my leather where stitching has come away slightly 2. What products do you recommend to get my tired leather back to its former glory 3. What solution can I use for the tweed door cards to feel like new again 4. There seems to be lots of conflicting information surrounding this little sucker. So I thought I'd start this thread not only to get mine sussed but for others to have a nice clear explanation. Useful when converting to manual from auto. My current understanding and please correct me if I'm wrong, this is a discussion not a how to. Hey folks! been a long time since I haven´t showed up around here; been so busy with life matters... anyhow glad to be back and I wanted to ask a question to all of those experts on stereo new tech system; as many of you know I actually live and stationed in Spain; my Z radio is very simple barely has no quality at all, actually I think it´s the stock one still. I wanted to get a good stereo system but many people I spoke to always said Z32 and sterey system never got alone..lmao. Thing is I wouldn´t want to drill a single hole on my Z it is very nice and stunning and wish to keep it this way. Probably not even going to put a subwoffer just a good radio with new speakers …

Going on from my post about the poor quality of some or in fact a lot of used z parts been peddled on facebook and the like. Just seen these little gems, a couple of doors for the bargain price of £80 !! Not even wiped over with a camp cloth, rust at both mirror positions and crapped out rubber trims, I mean in real terms and the changes in cost of living that is more than I was selling perfect doors for 10+ years ago !! Hi Guys, I have a nice solid vibration at motorways speeds which seems to get worse from about 60mph upwards gradually getting worse the faster you go. The car has recently had a new single piece prop shaft fitted along with a new gearbox mount both have made no difference. There is no noticeable play in any of the wheels, the hicas joints and inner steering arms are also recent. The alloys and tyres are new with no balance issues. Despite all of this the vibration continues, it sounds like its coming from the NSR but very hard to tell. I'm wondering if I've got a knackered driveshaft/both or a knackered diff? My car was bought with racing seats, slammed coilover…

Just briefly, i have factory blue glass all around in my 1994 Z. The front screen is a Pilkington 'copy', replaced under insurance several years ago, it's lovely and it's matching blue.......happy days. Both my door windows were scratched quite bad from when i purchased in 2009, so i replaced just these two with bronze but over time the mismatchiness gave me sleepless nights !! So i re fit the blue a month back and now this thread will be my attempts at restoring them, never attempted this before i might add. I needed the wee plastic bit for the door lock mechanism. Told they were like hens teeth but Luke from Zcentre said he had one that he'd throw in with the downpipes I had just ordered. As it was 1st April, I thought he was pulling my leg and bought 2 from Andy Puttnick. Downpipes arrived last weekend, no wee plastic bit, but this morning = you guessed it, my invoice and the wee plastic bit arrived in the post. So, Luke, I apologise for doubting you and if anyone on here needs the plastic bit for the drivers side or a metal version for the passenger side, let me know. No charge.

On for very cheap at the moment. Were there any 'plain' UK spec clocks? Like the jap ones with just the MPH around it and not the kph on the inside? Like these? Or are they just amended jap clocks? The reason I ask is that my UK clocks look a lot fuller with the kph on aswell.

Doing a light check before MOT next week and all is well except when I press the brake pedal. Although both brake lights are working, the dash warning light comes on. Any ideas?

Just looked on the JAE site for 2016 and wow has that got a dear game!!! £45 per person advanced tickets and an extra £15 per person if paying on the gate!! jeez so if there is a family of four in a single car paying on the gate that is £240 smackers !!!
