My wheels are going away for a re furb soon, as I have a couple of poor sealing tyres, and I'm really torn on weather to have the centre spokes painted a different colour, black is the favourite at the moment. Any one able to change the picture below for me? " "]http://[/url]

A few weeks ago I mentioned that zebedee had been in front of the camera. Well this is the video created by a guy called Joe , aka The Cleaning Guru. He contacted me to see if I was interested in letting him detail my car using Dodo Juices Purple Haze carnauba wax in return for letting him film the job for his you tube channel. Well he turned up and spent over 6 hours cleaning and filming the whole process. Neadless to say he did a brilliant job and the products worked really well so if you are in any doubt as to why detailers go through so many stages to get a vehicle looking top notch then here's the evidence.

Hi all, I am trying to find the correct name for the part I need to replace.... or even an exploded diagram showing it anywhere.... It is the 'Rubber seal' / 'weatherstrip' that goes between the drivers window glass and the sail panel.... Mine has split and sticks out now...... any idea of part numbers for both sides please?? Or even the name of the part?

Anyone noticed the poor quality of used parts for the 300 on places like Flee-bay and Facebook ? cannot believe what I am seeing of late, corroded and rusty suspension parts, worn out and clearly very old dump valves, injectors look only fit for the bin!! and worse of all brake components that look like they have been on the Paris to Dakar Rally !! I would be horrified to receive such bad condition parts for a loved zed, I can understand that parts such as this may be coming harder to come by but that is no reason to hike the price`s and sell bin fodder as usable parts. I know when I started selling zed parts they were so much younger ( near 20 yrs younger…

Hi all I'm now certain of it, my clutch is slipping. I had my car mapped by Noel a few weeks back and was dyno'd at 427bhp / 444 ft/lbs. The previous owner told me he had fitted an Exedy clutch to the car, but I have no idea what type of exedy clutch. It feels very stock like, easy to push on the pedals and first gear is easily used. When booting the car though (mostly in 3rd or 4th) the rev counter now just fly's round without gaining much speed. Anyone have any recommendations on replacement clutches? I don't plan on adding any more power to the car, just want to be able to use the power I have properly :) Thanks Brett

Hello! So I have picked up some bride Gias Low Max seats which came out of an Evo 8. I have the low max rails, but obviously these won't marry up to the zeds bolts. I can find a welder to do a couple hours work on it at some point, but is there a more straight forward way to attach these??... Any advice appreciated. best regards, William.

Guys, I need to clean or replace my HKS mushroom filter. Does anyone know if it's just a washout and re-oil or do I need to replace it. Does anyone know who sells replacement filter cartridges? Cheers.

Right guys, still looking for a Zed, been monitoring the prices, for what I have seen so far and quoted by a couple of importers this seems a fair price. Any feedback welcome, gazwoz should have his cars ready soon for sale soon. Cheers. http://www.pistonheads.com/classifieds/used-cars/nissan/300zx/stunning-nissan-300zx-fairlady-twin-turbo-manual--26000-miles-since-new/5414664?v=b

I just got a manual 75' 280Z today the first year of the 280 not sure if it's going to be a parts car or project! Once I have my mechanic inspect the quarter panel damage we'll see. I'll be posting pics soon. I was at one of my employee house dropping him off and bam it was just sitting there looking helpless! He had gotten it in a trade with a 97 Buick lesabre and a old pickup for work from another job 2 years ago. He's old school gent that thought he wanted to restore it and now I'm the dummy that wants too I think! LOL.

I feel I need new wheels, sooner rather than later. I currently have a set of fuel 6s. I painted them gun metal a few years back but they need a refurb. They arnt the style I want really and is like something simpler. So what are they worth? They were about £650 new, I didn't pay this. Ideally I'd like to swap them. I need 18s though as my brakes won't fit behind anything else. Real pain in the ass, I'd go back to stock for a while otherwise. To sell these save then get what I want. Every time I look at the car though I feel disappointment with them.

Hi guys Hopefully looking to get back into a zed. Gonna start and stockpile on parts for my perfect zed!! Quick question for the wheel techs, would 18 x 9 and 18 x 10 wheels with both offsets at +22 be OK on standard zed arches? Thanks in advance

So I connected my laptop to my car and got these results: This is with my demist front screen thing on, temp set to 30C This is with the demist thing in the off position This is my friends Z working perfectly My O2 sensor seems to be broken as it never changed from 0.04V. On top of that my IACV-AAC/V reading only changes from 25-27% when the demist is on/off. My car hesitates when sharply pressing the gas. It almost stalls when you try to do a spirited start. Im hoping someone can look at this and suggest a route to take. Im thinking that the O2 sensors and the idle air control valve need replacing and testing the car again…

OK, so apparently my fog light wasn't working today for the MOT, so the garage tried to fix this by checking the wiring. The wiring seems OK, so I said I would bring it home and check all the fuses. Have done that and still can't fathom what is wrong. Now I have no side lights. Have checked the appropriate fuse and it is fine so I am a little perplexed. No sides, no fog, but yet have mains. Any thoughts?
