http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Nissan-300ZX-Fairlady-Z-Twin-Turbo-Manual-Z32-RARE-/322030085873?hash=item4afa7d26f1:g:11kAAOSwu1VW27qf this "completely unmolested" example was for sale last year (nov). I viewed it as a spared car for the 99spec bumper but walked away thinking it probably wasn't worth more than £800 of anyones money! The speedo/electrics were completely shot, terrible interior, rust everywhere, sills gone, misfiring engine, and a page of MOT failures. It has obvisouly had a bit of work to get it through an MOT, but I would highly advise anyone to steer clear. I have viewed some poor Zeds over the years, but this was the worst. Best regard…

Saw you coming the other way in the snow. I was in my white zed trying to get to work I got 100 yds further up the Rd then turned round and came home . Loosing traction and crap traffic not worth the risk she's back on the driveway.......just with a lot of slithering and sliding fun though.

I recently bought a 300zx and it has aftermarket rear lights currently fitted. The car came with the standard lights and a centre panel but they are all looking a bit dull with some light scratches here and there. Iv seen modded clear rear lights and also cars with the 99 spec panel (which I have) but with the 300zx logo illuminated Does anyone do refurb/ conversion on here? Thanks, Dave

I get tick over smoke, from one exhaust, before I commit to buying new turbos from the US, and totally rule out the engine, (compression test results are ok) if I disconnect both pcv valves/tubes and so the block vents to atmosphere whilst the exhaust is smoking, if it was the engine thats worn in theory should the smoke from the exhaust stop?? Thanks

Don't know if any of you saw this already, but there is currently available from Japan a complete Veilside Evolution exhaust for a 2+0. If you know about this exhausts systems you know how hard they are to come across, you also know that finding one for a 2+0 is almost impossible, and brand new too? Unimaginable. http://page6.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/f172121543 Thought you guys might like to see it or even buy it! Rob

Hi guys, having trouble with the clutch, I've replaced the slave cylinder but have gotten nowhere, the clutch pedal is up but is extremely soft with no real pressure / resistance, thinking of replacing the clutch master cylinder now. I've done a few searches regarding bleeding / replacing clutch system but I can't seem to find an actual master cylinder removal? Do I just empty the reservoir and then unbolt it, I don't have the top bleed valve on my car but have the braided line from the master to the slave, Is there a different way to bleed this setup? should I try bleeding it again or just bite the bullet and give Nissan ireland €120+Vat for a new master cylinder? The…

 Ok! I have put this off as long as I can, but a decision needs to me made as to what I do with my LWB TT. The car has been sat on the drive (undercover) awaiting an engine change (big ends) and although I have purchased a spare engine (needs some valve work) and still have a number of performance upgrades which were going on it, I simply don't have the time or enthusiasm to undertake the work. I won't go into details but the last 18 months have been very difficult and every morning I look at this car and think it deserves so much better and as things stand I really need to free up space and cash to re invest into my new detailing business. So, given t…

I would like to buy a exhaust. Now I'm a bit confused because I think I read somewhere that the exhaust for a twin turbo "manual" won't fit a twin turbo "auto". Does this mean that the auto-gearbox takes up more space than the manual? I guess I can at least install the mufflers and the X-tubes? I problably will refurbish my turbo's in the winter. Is it true that the turbo's on a "auto" are different then the one's on a "manual"? If so, does anybody knows what turbo's are on the "auto" so I know wich revision kit to buy? Thanks, Mike

So as some of you may be aware I ended up running a VG30DE in my car with a pair of turbos strapped to it. Inevitably the high compression took its toll and we lost compression. This is when I realised what was there, rather than a turbo block. Anyways that's by the by. It's a late spec unit with 10Y heads. What am I doing with it I hear you ask? Well I'm currently dissecting it to work out what exactly went wrong and wether its rebuildable. So today i had an hour spare, I stripped the front down and pulled the heads.

I always knew i had the original NISSAN compressor in the back under my space saver and here is a pic of said item . Yesterday i was checking my spare, with me having 15mm wheel spacers on the front i don't think this spare will go on because the hubcentric's bolts are proud, i need the other 'sexier' space saver that is out there and eventually i shall obtain for the right money. The green you see, is the first aid kit that was sold with a Zed on it, btw. It wasn't until i turned the compressor bag over did i spot something in the bottom right corner then it all delightfully clicked with me :). Because a few month…

After 5 years of owning my 300 I thought I would sit down and take a look at all the paper work I got with the car Seems this Andrew Stewart was collecting the history of the car when he got it 2002 ,and may be he was a member of the club ? I even have the red and solid metal key from new ,looks like my 300 was well looked after from the day one as the paper work shows in 1998 it was on 60k and is only on 77k now He lived at Ardrossan North Ayrshire ,any of the Scotland boys know of him.
