I had the rear subframe out and replaced the bushing with poly bushings and on all the other suspension parts also and installed ksport coilovers. I just thought the ride was this harsh because of the ksport. But it was still harsh when installing original dampener and spring. So thought maybe the dampener was done for. Replaced with some new eBay dampener. Still harsh as hell. Bought and installed powertrix coilovers. Rear still harsh/hard as hell. Front is fine.

Questions is can I have done something wrong with the bushings?

Polybushes are much stiffer than the OEM rubber ones so you'll automatically get a firmer (or harsher) ride when they've been used.

I have adjustable parts in frot also, with no bushing.

Take a speedbumb. When driving over, it feels ok in the front. It's a bit stiff but soaks up the bumb well. The rear. Stiff as hell. It feels more like it just slams down. Like there is no dampner/springs at all. Its the same on coilover and original springsa and dampner.

My thought. Rear to light ?? I have removes the hicas, diff cooler as all other things not needed. Can poly bushing change the car from sporty to hard/harsh as hell ?

I've seen a few people say they've ruined their cars by installing poly bushes. I would suspect you're looking for a problem that doesn't exist, if you've replaced everything with poly like you said, your rear suspension is just that hard

Is they're a poly version that is soft enough for everyday driving but had the longevity of poly available?

I have NISMO bushings all round and the ride is lovely. Now rolling on MeisterR coilovers at the rear (fronts to be fitted) and the back end is super smooth.

If you have any solid bushings however such as those fitted to many midori style applications, that will automatically make the ride feel harsh.

You did grease them and they're not binding are they? Mines crashy but it's pretty extreme. Most of the polybush horror stories are down to poor application.

Im running ksport coilovers and replacing or replaced bushes also with 19" rims the ride is hard thinking about something a little less stiff for me old bones!

If it has the standard KSport coilover spring rates, then yeah they are far too hard for the road. Spring rate is about twice as much as something like the Meister R coilovers.

What are the meister r rates? Their website has an extreme shortage of details for their new range, unless I'm just blind

8/7 kg/mm as standard. But they offer other spring rate options. Some owners have fitted 7/5 or even 6/4.

The older K Sports were something like 12/10, and I thnk the news ones are 12/8 or simlar.
