G’day all,

Earlier today I collected some silver body panels from Bridgwater. This included a silver front bumper, which will eventually replace the black one that was fitted after my little mishap.:whistling:

When I first purchased the car back in April, the bumper had been resprayed and the front fascia was silver – like the later model Zeds. I wasn’t a fan at first but it did grow on me. Now I’m in a position where I can choose to respray the whole bumper like this, or I can keep the black fascia.

What are everyone’s thoughts? Do I keep the black trim?:confused1:

Body color just looks nicer IMO. Especially for the design and flow of the car.

I like how joel has done his in a grey not as stark as black, yours would look nice with a darker grey or anthracite colour ( imo)

Tash all the way!

 brilliant

Moustache really makes the front end stand out! I had my mirror backings colour matched to a Toyota metallic (in terms of shade) and a number of other members have now gone that route too. I wouldn't do it black.

Here's mine.

It’s interesting to see that a lot of people prefer the ‘moustache’.

I’ve decided that I’m going to keep it (the moustache) as I think it looks better with something to break up and contrast with the silver. Also going to reconsider the colour, I may opt for a dark grey or anthracite as a few of you have suggested.

Thanks for everyone’s input and suggestions. Lots of beautiful looking Zed’s here!:thumbup1:

I was browsing in Halfords and i've known for a while that my colour code KL0 is what Halfords call Starburst Silver.

I was also looking for the Toyota Grey and the Decuma Grey caught my eye, i then looked in their brochure and i found this is actually the 1G3 paint code.

I also have found this June 2014 thread where Steams mentions Decuma grey many many times..........

Hi all, I was trying to find the paint code of the original nissan grey used on the ‘moustache’ trim mentioned above. Does anybody know this?

Moustache all the way....!!

As said above, OEM moustache is a dark grey; and like Si says, that Toyota colour is pretty damn close to the OEM shade. I'd do that with your silver Zed mate:thumbup:

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:
