  1. For you? I can change it now, no poll needed. :)
  2. I bet if I changed my name on here everyone will be wondering who I am
  3. Uploaded over 80 pictures of the build process plus scanned copies of every receipt.
  4. Some good news on my insurance from Lancaster. They have signed off on an agreed valuation of £25,000. I aimed for £27k but they have dropped it down by a few grand.
  5. I know; why don't you make is 'RichardSmith' :)
  6. Next year is a big year for the club and i will be attending as many shows as i possible can fit in to make up for the last few years.
  7. Still 4 as we have a called up the reserves.
  8. Hi all, With great sadness I have to announce that once again I cannot attend the NEC show this year. Unfortunately due to a few last minute issues my zed is not currently drivable to the event. Up untill this morning the plan was to attend and bring the zed down on a trailer but my insurance company has now informed me that they never received documentation and proof of value so they still haven't issued my agreed valuation certificate. Its a big risk on my part transporting my zed with no proper insurance in place. I've came so close but the list of items needing done is bigger than the two days left to do it all in. So wishing all the rest of the NEC guys good luck with the setup and show. Do the club proud and I'll see you all at the next big event.
  9. Gear shifter support bracket now fitted and centre of my zed now back together.
  10. Where would that go?
  11. Certainly does.
  12. Always knew you had a split personality, so which Richard do we now address ?
  13. Keep it the same, its set in concrete more or less. If it was changed we would likely ban your ass for spamming the forums :) Only kidding, from my perspective if i changed my forum handle would people know who i was ?
  14. They haven't had a post in them for 2 months. Change the default search option at the bottom left and up it to a full year.
  15. Sorry, but I'm not. I have to look at the reality of the situation. At the moment the car won't start, needs mapped to be safe, needs a 4 wheel alignment then an mot.
  16. So the problems i'm having in general is either power or fuel; or both. I nipped out to buy 5l of fuel as when i popped off the fuel pipe next to the fuel filter there was no pressure. The battery i have is brand new but i think all the testing lately has run it down too far. I'll charge the battery back up tonight and try again tomorrow.
  17. I think i have a battery / power issue. As when i crank it the ecu resets. I've now taken the battery out and going to give it a charge over night see if i can get it started tomorrow.
  18. cant find anyone yet, but saying that what use would it be if it wont start.
  19. And i think i know why she wont start either. Have to nip out for a bit and try something when i'm back.
  20. Surgery took place at 1pm today and it was a success. I now have a working clutch. :)
  21. Not standard but I would guess its a crudely positioned sensor for an alarm.
  22. not sure, This is the second conversion i've done, but i dont remember having any sort of issue previously. As you can see on the picture the rubber parts would get sandwiched between the booster and master cylinder. I just need to cut a larger circle of the rubber away to give more of a flush and flat seal.
  23. The problem is when i put it back in the car it stops working and i think i may have sussed it out. This being an ex auto, we had to take off the faceplate covering the clutch area inside and out. And i beleive looking at this the rubber membrane covering the bulkhead may be getting sandwich between the master and booster. The extra gap is enough to stop the piston working,
  24. Add the pedal External to the car and it still works so good so far.
  25. My cable, clutch master cylinder and slave piston are all brand new and together they work fine,
