No idea, this is the first time i've cracked this gearbox open.

So this was the brown sludge that i removed from my gearbox at the weekend.

honestly. Do you think i'm not trying. All assembled back together and she still wont start, again seems to be fuelling issues. Timing is spot on as i fixed that this morning, tried various fuel levels and it just wont fire. Strange thing is after each test i do pull the fuel relay out then crank her so that any fuel is burned off. A few times she started but then stalled again after the fuel ran out.

Another nasty job done that well and truly needed it; gearbox oil change. You wont believe the colour of what came out prior to putting new oil in. Never had a oil pump so removed the shifter support bracket and used some hose pipe.

So after trying to start my zed many times with various fuel setting i've managed to foul up my plugs ever so slightly. 4 of them are a little worse for wear so i've ordered a new set, after which i'll start the process again. Hopefully after the new plugs arrive i will have her started by the weekend.

Just over a month since my last update and i had a bit of success today i thought i'd post a few videos. Previous issues were presumed electrical but after alot of diagnostics and tinkering i'm fairly sure its now just down to fuel. My own timing gun refused to work so i borrowed a old but known to be working version to set the timing. Fuel relay out i got the timing mark as close as possible to 15. Then i gave her a crank of the key. [video=youtube_share;K1ffIRlYSTU] Much smoother, but after i put the relay back in and gave er some fuel she instantly died again. Thinking its far too much fuel i set the master fuel level on the ecu lower and tried again [video=youtube_share;dMtMi1BK7Tc] This time she started and lasted about 30 seconds before cutting out.

It is, I managed to snag one of these from a breaker two years ago.

Check the comm port in Device Manager and make sure Consult is communicating with the correct one.

I'm sure the auto zed has an oil cooler built into the main radiator. But i'm sure it can be bypassed.

ok, My Subscription to Mail Chimp is currently at 2500 subscriptions, this sets me back $35 a month as a business expense. In order to send this mailshot via MailChimp i would need to increase my subscription to cover 12,000 subscribers at a cost of $130 a month. We also cant just send an email via vBulletin as that also goes through my servers and goes against my usage policies and could mark my server as a spammer. So unfortunately its not something i can do. There is currently 9745 email addresses in the database minus the banned and obvious spam addresses i have filtered. If i remove the dormant accounts that then drops down to 1342 email addresses.

I thought you said you just pulled that map from google ! As i was only trying to get a better picture that included all regions.

Not directly from the club as that's the fastest way to get our mail server marked for a spammer. I've got a mailchimp account so will create an email campaign tonight.

Time for a clearout of the old Events and Meetings sub forums. Too many to list and with the loss of so many zeds over the years we have combined many of the sections. In order of appearance we now have the following : General Area Announcements National Events Scotland Wales Ireland England - North (North East, North West, Yorkshire and the Humber) England - Midlands (West Midlands, East Midlands and the East of England) England - South (South West, South East and London) If your much like me and your geography is crap, here is a nice little map : And to follow on with the new areas i think we should run a club census on each area to give us an idea of the membership base around whats left of the UK.
