  1. Yeh, in this day and age there not upto much. I have a Qashqai i use for my business which runs ok but the engine is a renault which have a tendancy to breakdown.
  2. I use SGS for everything, very good quality. The jack is very low profile, but my zed is so low i still need to scissor jack it an inch before it fits under and past the skirts because they make the stance more square.
  3. I know the one that was in the first auction actually came from the local nissan garage. Its less than 5 miles away from where i stay.
  4. Japspeed, before my time and I've been here for over 10 years now.
  5. We were fine previously. Just needs a bit of training to get back in the swing of things.
  6. OK, But then it looks like there is fresh content that people can see by looking at the thread titles. For the new members all they see is one big thread title. It may be all in there but much like Facebook you can't follow a particular part your interested in. One of the things I hate about Facebook is its linear format. I feel we are changing to that style of format which is bad for this club.
  7. No doubts if anyone posts separate threads people will comment. But I've always believed the big one thread is a new thread killer.
  8. We never had a first. It was just an unofficial count, lol
  9. It was closed not that long ago but reopened. If the majority like it then it stays, but personally I think it can distract members from opening new threads.
  10. Absolutely amazing Simon. I would love to do a trip like this one day. Keep the pictures and trip progress coming.
  11. I enabled the donation system purely as a few members asked for it. The position of the club currently does not require donations but a few members expressed that they wanted to donate to the club after others helped them out. The system was turned back on two weeks ago just as a means to process payments at the members chosen amount.
  12. I'm stuck with the cheap carpet in mine, but on the lookout for a older version to replace it.
  13. It's great to see this beast of a zed come together.
  14. Perfect Jeff. I was in looking at it for 20 minutes before i had to head home again. Not even sure the owner is a member on here but it was strange he went out his way to goto that particular garage from glasgow. I'm thinking its someone i've spoke to previously then i recomended the garage to him.
  15. I was in to visit my customer today and spotted this UK zed on the ramps. Always a pleasure to help out with a zed so i nipped home to get my conzult. Few issues but no error codes showing on conzult as far as i can see. Couldn't get her up to temperature even after 15 minutes so i think you have a stuck open temperature stat. Found a fuel leak near the FPR which i'm sure Kevin can sort. Disconnected left side pcv valve which has an after market hose on it - reconnected. Fair amount of smoke coming out both tails pipes so worth swapping out the pcv valves ? We can hear a thudding noise when turning to the right - needs further investigation. tps was sitting at 0.47 roughly so needs adjusted down - never had time to change this myself. gearbox felt hard to push into gear - this could be down to the linkage in the gear lever connecting the gearbox arm. Also noticed a zedworld sticker on the side glass so maybe Jeff recognises this zed. Let Kev know the next time you plan to come down and i can arrange to come out, only stay 5 min from the garage. Lee
  16. Happy birthday Lee
  17. i just bought a new one, from new they are unpainted aluminium.
  18. He's no Irish if that's where he's puting it.
  19. Waiting to go to the tuners this time for first start.
  20. Interior and dash back in.
  21. So back in the garage and jacked up once again. This time to wire and bolt in the new wideband lambda sensors for my link ecu setup.
  22. Run out of ink on the printer so never got a print out atthe time. i took a photo of the screen when they were doing it but before it was finished.
  23. I like that, mine used to be like that 4 years ago but its all dull now. But not enough experience with polishing to try bring the shine back.
