After market temp sensor.

Hotel now booked. Picking up a trailer tomorrow and zed is 90% prepped for the show already.

So engine tune session today and managed to get the engine purring if not with a few issues along the way. First issue was we found a vac pipe leak after tracing the ecu vac sensor pipe to a Y splitter that had its own split. next we found the CAN wide bands didnt come online and that was again just a loose cable. Lastly was a much bigger but fixable issue and after all the time splitting and rebuilding this engine i couldn't believe i done. Can anyone spot the rookie mistake that i freely admit to doing which led to having to stop the session :

Sure am, Been a long time coming and fingers crossed for tomorrow morning. Not really had it up to temp as such as wanted to get it checked over professionaly first with someone that knows what's needing done.

Fueling issue now sorted, Gave the battery a good 2 days of charge, that and i found that the injector sub loom wasn't fully connected. The zed is booked in tomorrow to do a remote mapping session to ensure everything looks good before taking her up on a trailer to get a direct hub connected map done.

Replacement front valance arrived. Managed to crack the old one driving out my garage a few weeks ago.

What's everyone been up to ? Surely your zed isn't sitting doing nothing this year ! I'm trying to workout how to get all this cabling under the kick plate and put the carpet back in.

This is my zed as it sits today, It needs a bloody good polish, also it wont start and i've no idea why just yet. But turns over perfectly fine and has oil pressure. All that aside as i'm trailering the zed to the NEC it doesn't really need to start, long as i can manoeuvre it on and off a trailer.

My zed is in near show condition, Just a few touch ups to do, need to get the front bumper valance sorted which will be next week, then sort the trailer. Plan to book up my hotel shortly and i'm looking at dates from the 11th to 16th November.

It looks identical, but when trying to program it with my zed it doesnt work. The PCB inside likely is different so i may try open it up and see.

New retro remote has arrived, been wanting a new fob for a long time and finally found one. Just needs programmed for my zed which i hopefully can do.

Top is stock, lower is after market if you have had any deletes or after market boost controller. Do you have any pictures of your setup ?

Out with the old, in with the new. Most of you know my Job is IT services so the tools i carry about tend to not like sliding about in the back of a truck. I've invested in a new bedrug boot liner which is basically a big fitted carpet. First i had to pull the old liner out and fully clean the skin of the truck. Then Fit the new liner. All in its taken about 4 hours so button it all up again. But the difference is amazing. Temporary fitting i had with a cut carpet : New fitment with the bedRug :
