Well thats it now installed and i've moved on to the gearbox only to discover i think the rear oil seal is bust as when i tilted the gearbox trying to get it on the jack it spilt its guts all over the floor from the back end.

Found the clutch spline, but anyone spot the mistake ? What did i forget to fit before the flywheel ?- JaiKai - MK2 - Ziggy Build
I was about to fit the clutch but managed to lose my pressure plate alignment tool. Life just likes to kick you down like this :(- JaiKai - MK2 - Ziggy Build
Onto the clutch and this was fun fitting and trying to torque up without it rotating. Eventually put a large socket in the front pulley and let it push against the bulk head.- JaiKai - MK2 - Ziggy Build
Few more issues but managed to resolve them eventually. First was to do with the oil pressure sender, as i located this on the oil tree and nearly managed to crack it off when installing the engine as i never knew it falls foul of the steering column. So found an old oil sandwich plate and a few adaptors and managed to rig up a new location for it that works well.- JaiKai - MK2 - Ziggy Build

Well the plenum is held on itself with about 10 or 12 i think, including the side ones.- JaiKai - MK2 - Ziggy Build
wired up most of the engine harness to keep things tidy but before the front pipes and radiator is fitted i need to put the whole car on axle stands ready to fit the gearbox. That will push the engine forward a bit ready for all the front end jobs.- JaiKai - MK2 - Ziggy Build

New crane adaptor to lift the engine is mush better than using straps. However ever so slightly tricky to get hooked up simply because of the wide engine stand i'm using. Up and away, tempted to put her in now.- JaiKai - MK2 - Ziggy Build

Would you believe the so called kit i purchased from concept doesnt fit. The two connections that mount to the Turbos's are way to small compared to the flange on the OEM pipes.- JaiKai - MK2 - Ziggy Build
All going well the engines going in this weekend :)- Searching for old car

When buying from ConceptZ or Z1 one simply doesnt just order 1 item. So with that rule in place in comes some new bling. And also orders a new engine sling so that it makes life easier putting this new build back in its place.- JaiKai - MK2 - Ziggy Build

Nearly ready to put the engine back in 😀 Had to order a set of oil pipes from ConceptZ as the stock ones are too tight in terms of lining up with the sump. So everything is done and just await a delivery next week from Fedex again. Also fitted all the wiring for the injectors and coil packs, they are all on 3 sub looms each with a break away plug so easier routing it the way i want now. - JaiKai - MK2 - Ziggy Build
