  1. I'll likely be starting my route down at 2 or 3am to get down for opening. See you shortly.
  2. I have a picture just like this with my daughter. She's now 14.
  3. Yip, I'll be leaving here at about 4am so will be down for the full day near enough on Friday and Saturday.
  4. No offence but i'd rather buy a nice shell and do it up to my own spec. I'm guessing the price tag is due to the name rather than condition. Just my personal opinion.
  5. That's great news, And I bet it's a great relieve knowing it's a simple plug rather than a broken cable somewhere you will never find.
  6. Just trying to book a hotel but I'll be down Friday and Saturday
  7. Sorry I meant mine as out my purple zed. Those are old pictures when I had the clocks out last. The rolling shell might be rebuilt next year depending on a few things.
  8. My series 4 cluster is a nismo.
  9. The series 4 internals are completely different, but there is a few designs that do support the boost gauge as mine has one. The black faceplate is not part of the main chassis and comes off after the casing is split.
  10. Should look like this :
  11. Got any pictures of the back of the clocks ?
  12. Also on the series 4 clocks you need to make sure your not pulling power for the convertor off the clock light circuit. The dimming of the dash lights will reduce the voltage and the speedo will not work properly.
  13. Thread now split. But you need to be a fully subbed member to sell.
  14. Hi Martin, I've merged the old account with this one.
  15. Happy new car day, absolutely love it. Very clean on the interior and has a nice sport look. Just need to add my company logo to the doors.
  16. Actually just went to see it in person. The car was previously wrapped in black and that's why the dvla data is wrong. Also managed to get a full hpi check on it and it's clear too. Test drive was great and gearbox very smooth. Front panel has been painted but when I looked it wasn't actually as bad as the picture above. So out a deposit on it and likely pick it up this Wednesday.
  17. Getting concerns for this car now so i think ive talked myself out of it The pictures show its front grill and it looks rattle canned to me.
  18. Hi , Looking to go and see an 2017 Audi A3 tomorrow with the view to purchase. Just wondering if any of our members could do an HPI check on it for me and send me the results ? I've done the usual free checks but the DVLA reports the car as Black but the pictures of it are clearly white. Just trying to figure out if the DVLA is wrong on the colour or has it had a hidden respray the garage isn't declaring.
  19. Nearly, Its under offer to my mate who may or may not transfer his other zed to it. I'll know in a few weeks
  20. Happy Birthday Nick.
  21. I personally loved the video and i now follow the channel, so they have a new fan. Any zed content i'll happily post here.
  22. Loving some of the Video Content i've seen posted by our members lately on FB so i thought i'd collate a few in this new section. New section has been added to the top club menus under media and links to the following page : https://www.300zx-owners.club/video-gallery/ If you have any ideas of video content that's 300zx related then post the URLs below. After the video links have been posted here i will edit you post and add them to the main video section.
  23. So just watched this posted on FB by Nick. I actually enjoyed it but as a seasoned zed owner i was cringing and shouting instructions at my screen First thing i thought about the engine noise was the lifters, as being sat for so long they likely have seized up with lack of oil. Buy hey, lets strip the whole front, no harm as they age of the car, i would have done all belts, oil and water pumps while i'm at it. Second cringe was the usage of a electric screwdriver on the tensioner, and just as i was shouting dont do that, snap - told you, lol. The mistakes they made actually made is a great video.
  24. Taken from a series 4 breaker, This engine was fully operational and running smooth when removed from the breaker, unfortunately I've no idea what the compression is. Likely has just over 100,000 miles on the clock according to the timing belt cover. Looking for 850 collected from Irvine, or add extra for on a pallet.
