  1. Also the fuelling issue may be directly related to a faulty cable or sensor on the Fuel Rail as i dont think 100 Degrees C is correct.
  2. Also had to adjust the TPS sensor today and the norm was was to use Consult but as i have a link ECU i mocked up a spare wire into the sensor and hooked up the voltage meter to get it to the correct position needed. Must say first time i've done it this way and thought 0.46 was good enough.
  3. So i have a very late series zed and engine in my possession, mostly as a breaker. As i was looking for a spare TPS sensor i noticed this today . The TPS sensor and throttle body for it are of a newer design as follows :
  4. So i now have oil pressure ! And the zed has been fully assembled to a working state. However, at the moment she wont start due to some fuel issue but i'm sure its because somethings been locked out on the ECU from the last time it was at the mappers. Just need to wait until they get back to me.
  5. Hi Rider, At the moment that's a function we keep for premium membership due to the cost of our hosting.
  6. Welcome to the club. As much as its a great video, an introduction would be great too.
  7. New engine oil arrived yesterday so had some time today and got the engine how i liked it ready to be put back in. But this time i've decided to move the wideband sensors back to the downpipes as i still dont like the location the test pipes that i have with the proper bungs put them at and for my likening its a little low. All ready to be put back in the zed.
  8. They all are, on the top right you have the sub categories which is the manufacturer years. Then each file is a subsection of that manual. So EL is for the electrical system MT is for Manual Transmission AT is for the Automatic and so on. Yours is a 95 so direct link below https://www.300zx-owners.club/files/category/4-1995/
  9. Right so my issue is a dry oil pump as its new and likely not primped properly, With the engine cranking over its not picking up fresh oil so i needed to somehow remove the oil tree and force oil up lines. Only way was engine out again then remove the turbos, then the oil try to expose the line to the pump. Didn't like the new braided oil lines so removed them and went back to the oem ones. Which was nearly new. The new style lines along with the oil restrictors stopped the turbo housing being clocked properly So much better fitting after they were back. Now await a new order from Opie oils for some smooth running in oil, then how to get this back in the zed again.
  10. In the downloads files section All the service manuals are available to download. https://www.300zx-owners.club/files/
  11. I've looked up the wiring diagram and managed to get a ignition feed from pin 109 for my guage, done this years ago as a simple hookup. Nowadays a pull a permanent live direct from the battery and hook it to a separate fuse box.
  12. Welcome back stranger !
  13. Welcome to the Club Steve, We are mostly a Z32 club so small chance that anyone on here may reply to your request. You can try one of the sister clubs at : https://zclub.net/community/index.php?forums/z31-300zx.4/ Or on Face Book https://www.facebook.com/groups/1266023726745381/
  14. Got it back on the stand until i can figure out what to do. If i need to go as far down as to take the oil pump out or inspect it then i need to strip the bottom end. All that weight i'm not sure its safe to spin the block as is, so it will have to be done up side down in situe. Its a brand new pump at least so thats like why its went dry or the internal grease has dried out. I need to find a way to inject oil down to the oil pump with it on the stand.
  15. Due to oil pressure issue the engine is back out :(
  16. Have an issue with my oil pump so need to pull the block again :( So , gearbox, starter motor , exhaust and drive shaft all back off, Engine prepped again to be pulled out tomorrow if i can.
  17. And today i have received my full refund from UPS for the original import Fees that never actually left the USA. UPS is a shambles of a company, taken 3 months to chase and make my refund. But i never gave up and kept hassling them to refund it.
  18. Thats basically what i have, but due to the steering rack no matter what was you put it there isnt enough room. I just discovered that the oil tree at the end has a pressure release valve and does open to the cooler until a certain pressure. That will explain why there isnt much oil in the cooler but the oil filter is near enough dry apart from what i pre filled it with.
  19. Tried to relocate the Oil Pressure sender using a sandwich plate but i'm not liken it much. So i'm looking to relocate it again and thought a good place was the capped off branch at the end of the oil tree. Does anyone know the size and where to find an adaptor so i can put the oil sender here ?
  20. ok, For some reason the oil pump isnt pulling up oil from the sump. Spoke to Jimmer and he suggested to back fill it from the other side as the pump may be a bit dry. Need to head now but will give that a bash tomorrow.
  21. So i've pulled off the sandwich plate and we have zero oil ? What the hell is going on as i've now emptied the engine so i can take the filter off again.
  22. So think i have discovered my oil pressure issue . Thinking it may be a Sender issue, i unscrewed the sender expecting a face full of oil and nothing. Slightly pannicking i undone the sump plug to get a full handle full which is great. The issue i think is an air trap on the T section of the adaptor i used on the sandwich plate show below. Going to remove the adaptor and see if oil flows from it, if it doesnt i'll need to take the sandwich plate back off and see whats the issue is. If there is no oil at the sandwich plate then we have other issues.
  23. yeh, Actually forgot i already had two looms i bought from Link, i had to remove both seats to pull them out from under the carpet.
