  2. We never changed anything, we attempted but decided to go back. What issues are you having? The selling system hasn't changed in 3 years now.
  3. So the sensors are coming through the old cat sensor holes. Just need the rubber bungs to seal them in.
  4. Also started to wire up the new lambda sensors Spent 2 hours making up a new canbus loom and fitting it under the carpet. After hooking it up the ecu couldn't see the can modules so I'm guessing I've done it wrong.
  5. Brakes now bled.
  6. As requested .007 will now be known as Chris300 Seems he has grown out of James Bond now :)

  8. Hi all, A favourite past time I was into was the CB radio. Unfortunately with advances in internet technologies and communications CB radio is not gone but greatly depreciated and quickly disappearing. I have been following a new craze for some time now and I think its something we can all get involved with nationally and globally. Basically what's been done is to take the inners of a android phone and put it in the design and case of a CB radio. Coupled with a few apps for android you can now use Internet Voice Chat over 3G/4G and wifi. Its basically like a reincarnation of the CB radio with the bonus of been able to chat all over the world. - What my plan is to do is to create our own Private Internet Chat server to use TeamSpeak or equivalent services. Then any member on here can chat to each other live like CB radio. No investment is required for you to join in on any of the channels as you just install the app on your phone or pc. But what I plan to do is to install a INRICO TM-8 shown below : This will connect via wifi to my mobile for internet but it can take its own sim card to be independent. Its a small investment of £160 but it will allow to chat to anyone on the system no matter where I am. So if this is something you could be interested in let me know.
  9. Got it in one!
  10. So I think my new build finally has a name. Done a quick search and no one that I can see has used it previously. Two things bring the name to mind and even though its a masculine name its been used for females too. First is the name of a computer in a sci-fi tv series (not hal) Second is the name of a character created by a famous British singer (now deceased) Any ideas ?
  11. Could it be possible that when the pipes heat up and expand it seals the leak slightly.
  12. Ah, They are not bypass as you would think. They join the front aluminium water pipes to the block. When the water gets up to temp the valve opens and lets water flow to the radiator.
  13. A the back of the engine ? To bypass the heater matrix if its leaking.
  14. After I fixed the hand brake, I did a quick check on a few things and then discovered loads of loose bolts. The brake callipers were bolted on near thumb tight and the main bolts securing the hub never had any cotter pins. Crazy wee things like that will end up with a MOT fail. Next thing to do is bleed the brakes but i'm needing to buy or make a bleed kit and also get somebody to push the brake as I do it.
  15. Next issue to resolve was my hand brake; which was near non existent. Off comes the rear wheels which surprisingly were held on with just hand tight bolt; oops. It took me a few attempts to work out the procedure to fix the hand brake but I got there in the end and now its tight enough on both sides.
  16. Out of my loft comes my exhaust which I've not laid eyes on for a few years. Very dirty looking so I gave them a quick scrub and polish.
  17. I have a few more days before the concept order arrives so over the weekend I cracked on with a few other jobs. First was the entertainment, fitted my speakers, new dab antenna and new pioneer radio. Not any pictures here as they are just the base speakers I could get for little money, but the stereo is digital and has speaker phone built in which is needed.
  18. Never even thought about calling; sorry. Its been dispatched along with a few other parts I needed so not to worry.
  19. What's the difference? Surely mirrors are just the same.
  20. Concept sell them and they will have the parts listed.
  21. Some wiring to do but the ECU is now fitted.
  22. Slightly cleaner than mine :) But I haven't fitted my exhaust or gearbox yet .
  23. Understood, fit the boss underneath that same pipe so it's mostly hidden from view.
  24. The sensor is needed and used directly by the ecu. I could have got a boss welded in lower down but I've already filled my radiator and it would be a bigger pain to get the intake pipes back out.
