Is your car a Z31 model?

Buzzing sound from overhead console
Cabin temperature sensor - along with clean and applying a light grade oil, you can also adjust the set screw - correct tension is necessary for the fan to work without squealing. Otherwise replace with new Part#27720-31P00 http://www.twinturbo.net/nissan/300zx/FAQ/FAQpages/tempfan.html

Anyone breaking a 300ZX?
Dash pods part#'s 25167-40P00 BRACKET-SWITCH 25267-40P00 BRACKET-WIPER S Make sure you use the correct size self tapping screws for the pods as even new they can split the plastic bosses. Before mounting them I carefully wound in the screws (and backed off) to cut the plastic threads.

JDM Number Plate
I asked because of 14A (b) in the ammendment: "(2) After regulation 14, insert the following regulation— “Size and spacing of characters: special cases 14A.—(1) This regulation applies in relation to any vehicle imported into the United Kingdom which— (a)does not have European Community Whole Vehicle Type Approval; and (b)is so constructed that the area available for the fixing of the registration plate precludes the display on the plate of a registration mark in conformity with the requirements of regulation 14." Clearly the JDM rear bumper number plate area precludes the normal size plate (regulation 14) so this ammendment applies. For the front plate there is no physical restriction on the JDM front bumper on using a regulation 14 compliant plate. So in practice it would be down to the authorities discretion in the matter. At least that's how I read it.

Tension Rods
The Nismo bush works very well (I've had them fiited for years). Slighly harder than stock rubber. https://conceptzperformance.com/nismo-tension-rod-bushing-nissan-180sx-240sx-s13-s14-s15-300zx-z32-skyline-2wd-r32-r33-r34-54476-rs590_p_645.php

AMS throttle cover
It will have been made for a LHD car with the throttle cable entering from the other side. With space for just the Cruise Control cable which would allow the cover to site down properly onto the fixing point.

Altia Rear Quarter Window Panels
Try the Japanease Yahoo auction site. Use アルティア or Altia and Fairlady Z, 300ZX or Z32 to narrow search. https://auctions.yahoo.co.jp/ or the English Yahoo proxy website (who will also handle the international shipping) https://buyee.jp/yahoo/auction Nothing listed as far as I can see at the moment.

From my register of UK specs I so far have the records of 205 cars out of 1548 recorded in FAST (Nissan's parts DB) and working from the last cars made 'Dec '93 backwards (plus a smattering of earlier cars). I have 26 Taxed and 32 MOTd. That figure will have changed since I started gathering the stats a year ago, but it gives you a picture of the state of play for the later cars.

Welcome to the Club Paul and thank you for your support! FYI - I have the car in my UK spec register with a build date of May '93 and number 1413 out of 1548 imported to the UK.
