Clearly the JDM rear bumper number plate area precludes the normal size plate (regulation 14) so this ammendment applies. For the front plate there is no physical restriction on the JDM front bumper on using a regulation 14 compliant plate. So in practice it would be down to the authorities discretion in the matter. At least that's how I read it.

It will have been made for a LHD car with the throttle cable entering from the other side. With space for just the Cruise Control cable which would allow the cover to site down properly onto the fixing point.

From my register of UK specs I so far have the records of 205 cars out of 1548 recorded in FAST (Nissan's parts DB) and working from the last cars made 'Dec '93 backwards (plus a smattering of earlier cars). I have 26 Taxed and 32 MOTd. That figure will have changed since I started gathering the stats a year ago, but it gives you a picture of the state of play for the later cars.
