'90 300ZX TT Manual with 17K miles in US Auction
Currently up for auction in the US with bidding now at $31,000 with 4 days to run a very clean low mileage example in EH7. How high will bidding go? https://bringatrailer.com/listing/1990-nissan-300zx-twin-turbo-76/ By way of comparison another EH7 car with just 8K miles went for $57K last year.

Heater problem
Welcome to the Club! For manual heater controls, the problem could be with the air mix actuator failing. Similar discussion in thread below: "I’ve got the later, manual air distribution controls, which now seem to be stuck on dash only. Ever since I had the car all positions have worked except full demist, which just clicked so I guess a rod is jammed or broken. But now I get no noise from the dash at all when I turn it. This information on how to read the ECU fault codes and resolve common faults will also be useful to you: http://www.twinturbo.net/nissan/300zx/forums/technical/view/1105629/The-Ultimate-Guide-to-ECU-Diagnostics.html You can also use the Conzult diagnostic software running on a windows PC to display the ECU fault codes and real time sensors and signals. https://conzult.com/products.htm a free Windows version is available to get started and covers most of the stuff needed (engine related) https://conzult.com/downloads.htm

300zx uk spec cutting out
If you have an early PTU fitted (left in picture) then they are prone to failure from heat and vibration. The symptoms being missing and/or complete failure after getting hot. Nissan produced a replacement PTU (right in picture) which fixes the problem. It is also worth upgrading anyway to the later PTU as a preventative measure. Also check the PTU connectors for corrosion and clean if needed. a The replacement kit is available from here (example supplier) and is plug and play replacement: https://conceptzperformance.com/nissan-infiniti-nissan-oem-power-transistor-unit-ptu-series-2-kit-nissan-300zx-z32-22020-97e25_p_605.php

I've just ordered stuff from Z1 Chris and am experiencing a delay like you with Fedex. Two things have caused a delay for me. 1/ Z1 did not complete the manifest correctly - missing the HS (tariff codes) codes and adequate descriptions for the items. This generated an electronic form from Fedex customs via email to complete (which didn't work!). I emailed Fedex customs with the info they wanted after getting through to customer services. 2/ Fedex used to pass packages through customs and then invoice you to pay afterwards. The agent I spoke to said that for "high value shipments" they want the duty and tax payments upfront before releasing the shipment. Another delay as they didn't let me know. I'm waiting for the call from Fedex customs to pay. https://www.gov.uk/trade-tariff or https://apps.parcelforce.com/tariffcode
