  1. Currently up for auction in the US with bidding now at $31,000 with 4 days to run a very clean low mileage example in EH7. How high will bidding go? https://bringatrailer.com/listing/1990-nissan-300zx-twin-turbo-76/ By way of comparison another EH7 car with just 8K miles went for $57K last year.
  2. Welcome to the Club Andy! This is the main schematic diagram for RHD Autos (.pdf copies are hi-res). Are you OK with Nissan wire colour coding? AT-42.pdfAT-43.pdf

  8. Best wishes and good health and happiness for 2022!
  9. Welcome to the Club! For manual heater controls, the problem could be with the air mix actuator failing. Similar discussion in thread below: "I’ve got the later, manual air distribution controls, which now seem to be stuck on dash only. Ever since I had the car all positions have worked except full demist, which just clicked so I guess a rod is jammed or broken. But now I get no noise from the dash at all when I turn it. 10. Great to see the end result of all the hard work and dosh that's gone into the car Graham. What a car to own and a UK spec to boot! Got my 50p ready for a ride someday.
  11. Best wishes for your Christmas festivities!

  13. 38214-40P15 is showing up on jp-carparts. I have used them many times and they have been reliable suppliers. https://jp-carparts.com/nissan/partlist.php?maker=nissan&type=132&fig=380B&part=3821440P15&page=1 for 21669-P9000 (this a euro/uk spec part) try allcarpartsfast. See if they can source it. Again, reliable suppliers https://www.allcarpartsfast.co.uk/nissan/nissan-21669p9000-switch-thermal/
  14. The condenser fitment is the same for JDM (TT models) and UK spec cars. NA models have a different fitment.
  15. Expensive box Chris! Mine has just been delivered.
  16. Thanks for taking the time to organise this Tom. Reading the burb for club stands it look like buying a stand includes entry tickets for exhibitors (minimum 5 cars). "To qualify for a club stand the club admin needs 5 cars as a minimum. Simply choose the “Initial Club Booking” option to register your club which will automatically provide 5 club stand driver tickets (passengers require a GENERAL PUBLIC ticket for entry).
  17. I have to say that you have big cojones for undertaking this project Tony - all credit to you! Got my 50p ready for a ride in your 996.
  18. This information on how to read the ECU fault codes and resolve common faults will also be useful to you: http://www.twinturbo.net/nissan/300zx/forums/technical/view/1105629/The-Ultimate-Guide-to-ECU-Diagnostics.html You can also use the Conzult diagnostic software running on a windows PC to display the ECU fault codes and real time sensors and signals. https://conzult.com/products.htm a free Windows version is available to get started and covers most of the stuff needed (engine related) https://conzult.com/downloads.htm
  19. If you have an early PTU fitted (left in picture) then they are prone to failure from heat and vibration. The symptoms being missing and/or complete failure after getting hot. Nissan produced a replacement PTU (right in picture) which fixes the problem. It is also worth upgrading anyway to the later PTU as a preventative measure. Also check the PTU connectors for corrosion and clean if needed. a The replacement kit is available from here (example supplier) and is plug and play replacement: https://conceptzperformance.com/nissan-infiniti-nissan-oem-power-transistor-unit-ptu-series-2-kit-nissan-300zx-z32-22020-97e25_p_605.php
  20. Welcome to the Club! Is that a clean (sudden) cut out or missing/stuttering beforehand? Any other symptoms ie fuel smell?
  21. Auction ended at $47,000 with the reserve not met.
  22. I've just ordered stuff from Z1 Chris and am experiencing a delay like you with Fedex. Two things have caused a delay for me. 1/ Z1 did not complete the manifest correctly - missing the HS (tariff codes) codes and adequate descriptions for the items. This generated an electronic form from Fedex customs via email to complete (which didn't work!). I emailed Fedex customs with the info they wanted after getting through to customer services. 2/ Fedex used to pass packages through customs and then invoice you to pay afterwards. The agent I spoke to said that for "high value shipments" they want the duty and tax payments upfront before releasing the shipment. Another delay as they didn't let me know. I'm waiting for the call from Fedex customs to pay. https://www.gov.uk/trade-tariff or https://apps.parcelforce.com/tariffcode
  23. It was a lovely clean example, and a nice owner to boot!
  24. Of course Gary, but temptation can be strong for some...
  25. Video review and comparison of three of the 90's greats. Rather nice filming location too.
