'94 300ZX TT Manual with 23k miles in US Auction
Currently up for auction in the US with bidding now at $30,000 with 6 days to run. The car was listed on BAT last year and went for $46,000. Be interesting to see how much the car sells for this time around. https://bringatrailer.com/listing/1994-nissan-300zx-twin-turbo-11/

Fuel leak at front - one time only??
You might want to check that all the clamps are tight: http://www.twinturbo.info/63104/155876.html The FPR and fuel damper diags: http://www.twinturbo.net/nissan/300zx/forums/general/view/2610744/Here-is-how-it-works.html Nissan fixed the old style fuel clamp problem later in the Z32 production cycle with spring clips (part # 16439-16E0A) which allow for the contraction of the pipes with age.

V-band exhaust manifolds and downpipes
Another new product for the VG30DETT engine: V-band exhaust manifolds and downpipes to mount V-band turbine housings such as the latest G-series from Garrett. It is wonderful to see that companies are still prepared to invest considerable time and money to make new products for our cars (that also are designed from the outset to fit RHD cars). http://www.twinturbo.net/nissan/300zx/forums/general/view/2651676/Polar-Engineering-Nissan-Z32-V-band-exhaust-manifolds.html

Speakers
Without knowing the Alpine cd and md model numbers, it is also possible that there is a seperate power amp driving the speakers.

Is this a stock system or aftermarket hu/amp?

Brake master cylinder
When you say the brake pipes have been replaced do you mean the flexible rubber lines to the calipers?

No power steering after HICAS delete
You can put the HICAS into diagnostics without a ConZult. It is described in the FSM (ST section Trouble Diagnostics) and also here: http://www.ttzd.com/tech/hicastech.html I've not tried this method though.

No power steering after HICAS delete
Is the HICAS control unit plugged in to the harness?

Giving it a new lease of life- pic heavy!
Take a look at this slicktop for ideas. It has the TwinZ Type 1 rear spoiler which runs a second to the best one (IMO) that being the OEM '89 spec. http://www.twinturbo.net/nissan/300zx/forums/general/view/2621393/Slicktop-TT-Back-from-Paint.html As for the OEM '89 spec, they are shown as NLA in Nissan's parts database. However, they do still seem to turn up when a request goes in to Nissan UK - Part# J6030-42P25. Worth a try if you want new, but expensive (~£700). Needless to say the fit and finish is perfect. s/h OEM '89 spec spoilers are usually water damaged and rotten, however I have seen them in undamaged condition off old wrecks. How or why they have remained that way I have no idea, but they do survive. It all depends on how long you are prepared to wait.

What did you do to your zed today?
Took the car out for a blast yesterday. First run since last November (NEC show). Started on the first twist of the key and ran like the proverbial sewing machine. Such nice cars to drive. Even got a howl of approval!
