No power steering after HICAS delete
You can put the HICAS into diagnostics without a ConZult. It is described in the FSM (ST section Trouble Diagnostics) and also here: http://www.ttzd.com/tech/hicastech.html I've not tried this method though.

Giving it a new lease of life- pic heavy!
Take a look at this slicktop for ideas. It has the TwinZ Type 1 rear spoiler which runs a second to the best one (IMO) that being the OEM '89 spec. http://www.twinturbo.net/nissan/300zx/forums/general/view/2621393/Slicktop-TT-Back-from-Paint.html As for the OEM '89 spec, they are shown as NLA in Nissan's parts database. However, they do still seem to turn up when a request goes in to Nissan UK - Part# J6030-42P25. Worth a try if you want new, but expensive (~£700). Needless to say the fit and finish is perfect. s/h OEM '89 spec spoilers are usually water damaged and rotten, however I have seen them in undamaged condition off old wrecks. How or why they have remained that way I have no idea, but they do survive. It all depends on how long you are prepared to wait.

Took the car out for a blast yesterday. First run since last November (NEC show). Started on the first twist of the key and ran like the proverbial sewing machine. Such nice cars to drive. Even got a howl of approval!

Giving it a new lease of life- pic heavy!
New slicktop windscreen and roof trim pieces listed here in the US (Part#'s shown). You will probably need new fixing clips too. https://conceptzperformance.com/nissan-infiniti-nissan-oem-roof-molding-rh-nissan-300zx-slicktop-coupe-z32-73852-33p00_p_5502.php https://conceptzperformance.com/nissan-infiniti-nissan-oem-roof-molding-lh-nissan-300zx-slicktop-coupe-z32-73853-33p00_p_6255.php Try Banzai (banzai-breakers) on eBay for SWB trim. He has listed the parts in the past.

Black UK Z
Yes I have a RLTC with an analogue controller. The setup and configuration s/w is running on a W7 laptop with a RS232 serial port. Screen shots of the setup (I referenced this on TT.net http://www.twinturbo.net/nissan/300zx/tech/tc/tc.html)

Exhaust help and opinions
This is the flowchart that should be followed for an MOT emissions test. The important point is that the Z32 300ZX is NOT in the "EGA database or the In-service Emissions book" So for Z32s first used before August '95 a "Non-cat test" should be followed. Also make sure that the tester is not using another Z model from the EGA database, for example a Z33 which is in the database and therefore is CAT present tested. It has happened.

For Koyo radiators drain and relief are M10-1.25.

Wheels!
Not necessarily. The inner shape of the spokes needs to be taken into account. The way to be sure of clearance with a BBK and a specific wheel is to get hold of the profile drawing and use as per the instructions in the attached pdf. This profile drawing was the one I used for the R33 AP CP5555 kit and my Blitz wheels. I'm not aware of one for the R33 Brembo kit however. CP5555-1000 kit profile.pdf
