  1. Looks fantastic as usual Joel. Not taking any chances with your choice of parking spot I see!
  2. What an amazing sight Raja. Great to see another Z32 in A1+ condition. Looking forward to seeing your pride and joy in person soon.
  3. Best wishes on your Birthday Chris!
  4. You might want to check that all the clamps are tight: http://www.twinturbo.info/63104/155876.html The FPR and fuel damper diags: http://www.twinturbo.net/nissan/300zx/forums/general/view/2610744/Here-is-how-it-works.html Nissan fixed the old style fuel clamp problem later in the Z32 production cycle with spring clips (part # 16439-16E0A) which allow for the contraction of the pipes with age.
  5. Another new product for the VG30DETT engine: V-band exhaust manifolds and downpipes to mount V-band turbine housings such as the latest G-series from Garrett. It is wonderful to see that companies are still prepared to invest considerable time and money to make new products for our cars (that also are designed from the outset to fit RHD cars). http://www.twinturbo.net/nissan/300zx/forums/general/view/2651676/Polar-Engineering-Nissan-Z32-V-band-exhaust-manifolds.html
  6. Makes being part of our Z32 community so worthwhile.
  7. Without knowing the Alpine cd and md model numbers, it is also possible that there is a seperate power amp driving the speakers.
  8. What's happened to the missing wind deflector?
  9. Is this a stock system or aftermarket hu/amp?
  10. When you say the brake pipes have been replaced do you mean the flexible rubber lines to the calipers?
  11. Looking good Alex - lovely colour.
  12. Are you sure all the air is bleed from the entire system?
  13. You can put the HICAS into diagnostics without a ConZult. It is described in the FSM (ST section Trouble Diagnostics) and also here: http://www.ttzd.com/tech/hicastech.html I've not tried this method though.
  14. Glad to see you haven't lost your petrolhead mojo Craig. Look forward to a ride in the beast!
  15. Ticket for me please Tom.
  16. Is the HICAS control unit plugged in to the harness?
  17. Take a look at this slicktop for ideas. It has the TwinZ Type 1 rear spoiler which runs a second to the best one (IMO) that being the OEM '89 spec. http://www.twinturbo.net/nissan/300zx/forums/general/view/2621393/Slicktop-TT-Back-from-Paint.html As for the OEM '89 spec, they are shown as NLA in Nissan's parts database. However, they do still seem to turn up when a request goes in to Nissan UK - Part# J6030-42P25. Worth a try if you want new, but expensive (~£700). Needless to say the fit and finish is perfect. s/h OEM '89 spec spoilers are usually water damaged and rotten, however I have seen them in undamaged condition off old wrecks. How or why they have remained that way I have no idea, but they do survive. It all depends on how long you are prepared to wait.
  18. Took the car out for a blast yesterday. First run since last November (NEC show). Started on the first twist of the key and ran like the proverbial sewing machine. Such nice cars to drive. Even got a howl of approval!
  19. Welcome to the Club! You should be OK as the engine wasn't turning over. . See point 28 in guide: http://www.ttzd.com/tech/timingbelttech.html
  20. New slicktop windscreen and roof trim pieces listed here in the US (Part#'s shown). You will probably need new fixing clips too. https://conceptzperformance.com/nissan-infiniti-nissan-oem-roof-molding-rh-nissan-300zx-slicktop-coupe-z32-73852-33p00_p_5502.php https://conceptzperformance.com/nissan-infiniti-nissan-oem-roof-molding-lh-nissan-300zx-slicktop-coupe-z32-73853-33p00_p_6255.php Try Banzai (banzai-breakers) on eBay for SWB trim. He has listed the parts in the past.
  21. For old times' sake - 3 UK specs (and Ian's slicktop) at Goodwood start finish line in 2018. Great to see the car getting back on the road Chris. You going to get the headlight washers fitted? - part of a UK specs DNA! Click for hi-res.
  22. Welcome to the Club Azzy. Great to see a slicktop being saved.
  23. Welcome to the Club! Doing fine thank you. Got a Z32? - then pictures would be lovely.
