  1. This is the flowchart that should be followed for an MOT emissions test. The important point is that the Z32 300ZX is NOT in the "EGA database or the In-service Emissions book" So for Z32s first used before August '95 a "Non-cat test" should be followed. Also make sure that the tester is not using another Z model from the EGA database, for example a Z33 which is in the database and therefore is CAT present tested. It has happened.
  2. For Koyo radiators drain and relief are M10-1.25.
  3. Not necessarily. The inner shape of the spokes needs to be taken into account. The way to be sure of clearance with a BBK and a specific wheel is to get hold of the profile drawing and use as per the instructions in the attached pdf. This profile drawing was the one I used for the R33 AP CP5555 kit and my Blitz wheels. I'm not aware of one for the R33 Brembo kit however. CP5555-1000 kit profile.pdf
  4. Looks to be a Bomex TypeII wing (click image for better res).
  5. Great to hear from you Mike, hope you are well.
  6. Alex, get them here: https://www.allcarpartsfast.co.uk/renault/renault-1643916e0a-clip/ Renault = Nissan in this case.
  7. If you miss the smell of petrol on a cold morning this could be just the thing to overcome the loss.
  8. Best wishes on your Birthday!
  9. Re your stuck CAS to bracket. I had the same with a late CAS I bought s/h. To avoid damaging it I cut the bracket itself at two points to just before the CAS and then split with a small cold chisel and light taps. The bracket is a soft alloy casting and splits easily. Getting another bracket would be an easier (and cheaper) option.
  10. This^^^ and then collect the manual parts at your leisure in case you have a change of heart in the future. You will always be able to sell them on if not.
  11. Best wishes on your Birthday Lee!
  12. For ECCS relay wiring reference:
  13. Another option if you want to retain a factory look could be a PS cooler from another Nissan. This is of similar design (tube and fin) and is compact. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/143094502603
  14. That calendar is out of date - the Russian GP?
  15. Congratulations to you both! Looks like the Golden Retreiver was up for it too!
  16. To help identify the make, can you post a photo of the alarm fob?
  17. Best wishes on your (Big) Birthday Joel!
  18. Sold for $72,500. Goes to show that beautifully presented modified Z32s can command a premium price (at least in the states).
  19. Best wishes on your Birthday Andy - looking forward to a ride in your souped up swanky slicktop!
  20. It is eminently possible to convert from R12 to a later refrigerant like R134a. I would find a specialist who knows that. This is a suitable write-up to get you up to speed on what's involved: https://conceptzperformance.com/wiki/index.php?title=R134A_Conversion Nissan published a very detailed Sevice Bulletin describing the procedure in detail (more than needs to be done, see above) but here for reference NTB96-023a.pdf
  21. Got a link to the ones you have posted? If you are running stock (or R33 brembo) calipers and keeping the short hardlines (see link below for example) from the calipers then yes. https://conceptzperformance.com/nissan-infiniti-nissan-oem-300zx-front-brake-caliper-fluid-line-tube-rh-z32-46245-33p10_p_6045.php Here are the Technafit I've used in the past: https://conceptzperformance.com/technafit-teflon-coated-stainless-steel-brake-lines-nissan-300zx-z32-nis-1300_p_1886.php
  22. From the guys that brought us the lovely "300ZX vs Supra vs RX7" video (here) this is their latest road trip up the North American pacific coast from San Francisco to Seattle in a 300ZX and 928. Stunning coastal scenery and roads along with gorgeous film work. A road trip in a 300ZX to remember! Watch in full screen.
  23. Currently up for auction in the US with bidding now at $26,000 with 5 days to run a highly modified and clean example. Normally modified cars don't do so well in these auctions but this one is making good progress so far with the bids. Worth checking out the engine's performance figures in the listing. For the power the stock brakes look a bit underwhelming! https://bringatrailer.com/listing/1990-nissan-300zx-twin-turbo-84/
  24. Either way, onwards and upwards prices are going.
