Of course ;) ;) :D Er, I guess !- 1'st pics of new 'Viper' front bumper from the Zcentre
Luke's about to launch a modified version of the original spec lights which has the side lights and indicators all built in to the main cluster, along with an HID option if you want it ! :)- HID bulbs
Nearly forgot - Luke now has HID direct upgrade bulbs that fit straight into the original sockets and plugs :) Watch this space for a couple more months and the replacement light units will be ready with HID option and indicators included, all under the original perspex covers. In time to fit with the new Viper bumpers ;)- 1'st pics of new 'Viper' front bumper from the Zcentre
And here it is ! The first ones should be rolling off the mold early in the new year ! Gimme gimme ! :hyper:- What does your V5 say??
The first one (after importing) read - Make/Model - Nissan Micra Engine Size - 2560 You'd need a seatbelt in that ! :D- Hole in exhaust.. MOT failure????
You're definitely ok if you can plug the hole with paste sealant, but I think you'd fail if you use the bandage.- Track advice.
Is your Z manual or auto ? If it's auto you want to only run 4 or 5 laps at a time to start off with as your brakes get much more of a hammering !! First time I went on track back when my Z was auto, with standard brakes, my brakes faded out to nothing after about 8 laps and warped ! There were even pale blue flames flickering over them  A good tip is to keep your driving smooth, especially to start with. Focus well up the track and prepare all your manouevers well in advance, start turning the wheel gradually rather than trying to throw the car across the track, and the same with your brakes; gradually increase the pressure - don't jump on them. Also remember to cater for other drivers losing it around you. ;) And make sure your passenger brings a change of underwear :D Enjoy mate !- Group Buy on Carbon Fibre Driveshafts
Got a response from Paul ast CTG - "Conrad, Sorry not to get back to you sooner - I've been away on business. Having looked at the diagram, it seems that the prop is within the scope of what we are pursuing as a broader plan. Having developed and seen notable success with our bespoke motorsport props, our aim is to select from typical components the elements of a composite solution for production cars. This will streamline the process and enable us to offer competitive prices for our components. We would, therefore, be interested in developing a prop for the 300ZX, but would need to see the existing prop and the car for measuring/specifying the components. Unfortunately the link forwarded only offers maintenance information regarding the prop. As the prop is only vaguely defined at this stage, I can only confirm the budgetary pricing of approx. £1000/unit (we'll use in-house mandrels.) However, it is unlikely that this figure will change significantly. We would look at developing a 1st off prototype for testing on one of your cars, and then quickly follow with the required quantities for other interested members. Did the members of your forum seem interested by the proposal? I look forward to hearing from you. Hi Ajay, Noble Racing in Chesterfield come highly recommended. They prepare engines for Noble cars and have done top rate work on several cars I know of - AND they're more than 50 miles from the sowf coast :D Less than 10 miles from the M1.- email notification

Does this sound reasonable or should I go out and buy some stripey paint and some sky hooks ?- Group Buy on Carbon Fibre Driveshafts
Paul tells me they help turbos spool up quicker (as much as 200rpm lower) due to the decrease in mass being rotated. Might explain why some report the car being more driveable ? What I didn't ask him was whether they'll fit them there, thus saving the carriage cost as well as the import rip off tax from the cost of the US one. I'll ask him that if/when we get hold of an OE spec diagram.- Group Buy on Carbon Fibre Driveshafts
Been speaking to a Paul Lewis at CTG in Oxford - http://www.ctgltd.co.uk/technology.php?id=41&title=CTG+TORQline%99+Propshafts+and+Driveshafts With only 3 - 4 people we'd be looking at about £1k each, but it would be cheaper with more takers, obviously. Apparently it could less then £1k, depending on whether the ends are cast or splines. Also depends on how large it is. They'd need an old propshaft as a model. Do we have any plans/diagrams available to send them ? Cheers! konrad- Garaged Zed
Yeah ? Do you know how long it's 'sposed to take to deteriorate then Pete ? And what are the effects ? Mine sit's in the garage all winter. Will I need to reset the ECU next Spring ? Cheers !
