Between the time I got home from work and the time the neighbour came round............
Someone nicked the hard top off Em's MGF............they popped the drivers side lock, after bending up the bonnet to disconnect the battery.......no one saw anything happening during that!!
About 30 minutes in total I was in the house, in which time people in our street are coming up and down the road from work, etc.......
Nobody saw a thing, apart from the neighbour, who is about 90 years old!! And he came roubd right away........
I went out looking in the area and couldn't see anything, the only information I have is that a red 'Civic' type car with a spoiler at the back was seen going up and down our road today and this slowed by Em's car........
No-one took the Reg number (but why would they!)
Am seriously pissed off..............£1500 worth of hard top gone.......If Em claims on the insurance she loses the 'no claims' and her insurance goes up to over a grand (I think!) so what's the point in claiming........
Still waiting for the police to come around, can't move the car as they have shorted it, so the immobilser is locked on.......
Police are quick enough to stop us for nothing, but if a crime is comitted........see you in about a week or so.....
I'm off to kick something...........
Matty.
