  1. Ah perfect, thanks - that looks like a good 2 / 2.5 inches then
  2. Hi, anyone happen to know the clearance between the top of the engine and the bonnet? (sound shielding removed if necessary). Also between the strut tops and the bonnet? Looking at putting vents in the bonnet just behind the strut tops and hoping to have 3 - 4 cm depth into the bonnet available. Cheers
  3. Yep, they look fantastic. Wondered if they were the Stillen ones but it's hard to be sure with them blended in. Cheers buddy.
  4. Hi, can anyone tell me which skirts these are please? Also, do they make them for standard and wide arch? Cheers
  5. Ah nice, cheers buddy! I'll go and check on the 350 forums then to see if anyone's fitted one to a 350, to see if the spline's the same - sounds likely though if it was unchanged from the 300 to the 350.
  6. Hi all, not sure if I should be resurrecting this old thread or making a new one but based on the above would it be do-able to replace a series 1 steering wheel (with cruise controls) with a 370Z one? Would look for an auto-electrician to connect up the buttons (it's one of the main drivers for changiing the wheel as I want stereo controls) but mainly wondering if it would fit, ie if the rake or whatever is compatible, what fitting kits/bosses might be needed and whether it would be possible to keep the middle part/horn of the wheel without an airbag in it/ Cheers!
  7. Seriously looking forward to getting these on the car, cracking work buddy, thanks! #CarPorn
  8. Assuming the set-up is just for the design (ie they can then supply the same design in black or gunmetal) and we could have the Z logo instead of their own branding then I'd certainly be interested. While we're talking speedo dials has anyone thought about having them with odd numbers instead of even? Always seemed strange that the numbers are 20, 40, 60, 80 etc when the speeds you're most concerned about (ie when Mr Plod is in your rear-view mirror) are 30, 50 (motorway roadworks) and 70. Using odd numbers could also mean the clock could show up to 190.
  9. Nice wheels! :cool3: Not sure how much help it is but I used to have 7 twin-spoke wheels on mine years back before I went for my Rays so this photo may give you more of an idea of what twin-spokes look like on a Zed
  10. Where are you sourcing the replacement titanium keys from please buddy? Always fancied a pair of those myself.
  11. Yep, that story kicked off my original search - a propshaft spinning at speed in the cabin might smart a bit! Presumably a crazy-low chance given the number of cars on the road with them against the number of reports of it but still scary. The 5% power gain at the rear wheel would be handy though for sure!
  12. These might be worth a look too - aluminium shafts averaging $380 (£265 currently) plus carriage and import tax of course - http://shaftmasters.com/nissan-300zx-drivesha300.html I looked at a carbon fibre prop about 10 years back but finally decided against it on grounds of cost - huge rotational weight saving though, even against the aluminium ones, weighing just 12lbs in total. Link for carbon props here in case you have the money burning a hole in your pocket :) - https://conceptzperformance.com/inland-empire-1pc-1-piece-carbon-fiber-driveshaft-12lb-nissan-300zx-90-96-z32-37000-cf_p_2470.php Seriously considering an aluminium one now though. Does the forum still do group buys? Paying for shipping on just one large parcel should make for a decent saving.
