Luke at the Zcentre sells them - quite reasonably too ! 0115 9676356
  2. Luke at ZCentre has a full catalogue of bodykits etc - he's been supporting Zeds for donkeys years ! You'll probably need to call him to send you a paper catalogue as I don't think he keeps those bits on his website - there's as much for the early Zeds as for ours though !
  3. Not the first time either - they did the same for a young lad last year too ! :) I'm sure we'd provide a good turnout if the request were made of us too. You'll notice nothing like this ever makes it onto the news though; we're to believe all motorists are evil, and that sportscar drivers are satanists :xxx:
  4. Done ! Supercar performance and handling. Smooth, sleek lines. Japanese reliability. Hmmm...calls cost just 10p each eh?..........
  5. Do you know if the donor car had traction control ? The Full Throttle Shift option requires a swich on the clutch pedal.
  6. Blimey - 4 hours after the post and no-one's thrown their toys out of the pram yet ! :) You bought/buying a new Soup Far ? (saw your post about removing the RLTC)
  7. Now THEY look awesome ! Hmm, I wonder if we could convince Luke.......... :)
  8. Probably will if it's dry that day. Don't fancy parking up in a wet field though.
  9. I guess you've got to wipe it on summat and there aren't any curtains in a Z ;)
  10. Cheers mate - likewise !
  11. Shame though - would have been good to replace the lot while you were at it :( I guess it's lucky the base fitted then ! BTW - you've really got me thinking about a set of those Lambo lights. Could well be the next mod, methinks.
  12. Yeah, good plan - could well be up for it !
  13. Got the kit - cheers Pete !
  14. Track days are well worth the money ! Donnington's a good place to start - quite a fast track and about as safe as they get (go for an evening session as you can still get several goes for a lot less dosh and the air's cooler! Oulton Park's more fun, slightly more tricky. Both good tracks for the Zed though. If you've had enough of your Zed though, and maybe your life, then Cadwell Park's an excellent place to end it all - really narrow circuit with overhanging trees in places and dogleg bends right next to armco barriers. Best leave that one to the Scoobies, IMHO ! Do a quick search on previous track day posts to get loads of tips on preparation, driving and cooling off etc. Make sure your Z's in top running condition and go enjoy ! konrad
  15. Sorted - cheers Pete !
  16. Yeah, they probably figured they were children's toys, not rifles, being so plasticy. ;) Don't know where they're up to now, but the last I knew they'd passed the 300 mark for modifications :( Fell foul myself of the one where the magazine release catch would press against your webbing belt and eject the mag when you had it slung for yomping. Not long later they recalled them all and fitted that metal ridge around the catch, but not before I'd had a b@llocking for losing a mag (luckily only full of blank rounds) Add that to the fact you need 2 or 3 rounds to put someone down, being such a small calibre and it's hardly surprising that special forces don't use them !
  17. Back down to earth as a mere mortal eh ? Cheers for all the time you've put in Anita ! PS - finally got round to having that seat retrimmed and fitted - working a treat now ! Thanks, konrad

  19. Nice cars - enjoy !
  20. Can't give you specific times but a mate of mine has a chipped MR2 turbo (276 bhp). It's quick, no doubt, but he's never yet managed to keep up with me.
  21. Gonna show us a picture of the lights on your car then mate ?
  22. Yeah - I make of pointing of phoning up a company's support line before I join, whatever the product. If it seems like it's outsourced I just the put the phone down and look elsewhere. Got through about 5 ISPs until I found one I could understand; well almost - they're all Scottish ;)
