  1. I knew Tomei gaskets were considered superior to Cometic and now you have an in house MLS Gasket thats even better again.I take it these have been shown on the FB page so i can go take a look ?
  2. So the fluid is Green James ? You are absoluetly sure its not condensation from the AC and perhaps the floor isnt level so it appears to be coming from the O/S rather than the N/S like it normally would ?
  3. So at that point Vernier Pullies /Use a thicker gasket,Or as you stated, build up the head face and Mill them back into spec ?.Do you ever use Tomei HG,s Mitch in varying thickness sometimes to combat this issue also ?
  4. Out of curiousty Mitch ,As the heads and intake now sit lower at what point would you say the cam timing is altered adversley ? I am loving this thread and the work looks epic by the way.
  5. Much easier said than done Kev !!
  6. Is yours pin holed under the foam casing near the front Olly ?
  7. Lol That car was an NA Auto and i used to look after it for a local lad who sold it. Bit of a wow conversion job they have done I must say. Am i allowed to say that these days on here? Somebody got all ruffled last time :whistling:
  8. For the amount of work involved if you tried to do it in situ it would be quicker to pull the engine being honest.Removing the sump alone is a task in itself and working on the floor it would be horrific.
  9. When you compare it Nick with the previous RPS Clutch it is like night and day,The ease of use for a clutch that can handle so much Torque is amazing !
  10. Best combo out there imho !!
  11. Cheap flywheel with ring gear made from cheese i am afraid.Pull the starter off and have a look it will usually be damaged in 3 areas.
  12. Whenever you are ready Richard,I am fine thank you and hope you are keeping well also.
  13. Than you Richard :winkiss:.I just hope they have enough money after buying it to right its many wrongs !!
  14. That is a shed of dread ! I hope it does not end up at mine and i have tell its new owner he,s bought a lemon !!
  15. Glad you sorted it,It was a Gates belt i had the issue with all those years ago.Looking good now though :cool2:
  16. Its not the tensioner that is the issue, fit a genuine belt and it will be fine.Had the exact same thing on a car in 2006 and only used OEM since.
  17. Ajusa are shocking i am afraid. They are the FSO Polenez of the gasket world
  18. 250psi and lashings of it !!
  19. I have asked my AC Specialist whats available,They could be made but would want a serious amount of units ordered to justify the tooling costs etc.Condensors can be bought by size also and made to fit,Its the pipes that are a headache as they are metric and most A/C stuff is Imperial and has been for years.
  20. I have just looked on my usual State side suppliers and noticed both are now listing the OEM TT A/C Condensor as NLA. Sad times indeed. As the car's age, it really is surprising how many people want luxury items working again. It will be a struggle now seeing as the condenser was one of the biggest culprits for gas loss. How many more parts losses can we as owners stand as these fantastic cars grow older
  21. Nick stop it !!! That is pornography chap, Tissues please somebody :whistling: Ti
  22. And Richard apologised anyway !! Get over it fella
  23. Stu have you got a rear main oil seal also ?
  24. How have you checked for air leaks ?
