  1. I have a new AMS rebuilt hose i am willing to sell ?
  2. Do not get a Clifford whatever you do.A lot of installers i have spoken too wont entertain them after reliability issues. The Toad is plain and simple and does all you need an alarm to do.
  3. Power steering Chris,It was only Euro models that had it and they usually corrode out and lose all fluid.
  4. Chris delete the cooler it will probablycorrode and leak eventually anyway.
  5. I would bin them Lee personally if thats happened.
  6. "Just get a conversion kit" Have you seen whats involved and the cost.Mazworx sell a kit and it is not cheap at all.By the time you buy a Box,Get the kit,Have a prop made you are into new 98 box money.
  7. Personally i like the BA,s from Z1 ,For the money along with the pipe kit they are excellent value.
  8. I got it for Graham from CZP.its a sit down price well over 2k landed but i think that is cheap being honest for a new 5 speed box.
  9. The engine was blown also.Poor Neil went to all the trouble of fitting it and it only had 50psi compression on cylinder 4.
  10. That car got scrapped i am afraid and parts of it live on now on a car belonging to Neil Ellsworth from Hampshire.
  11. They arrived in Nismo packaging ? One way to tell the authenticity is use a magnifying glass on the spray plate,If the holes are neat and evenly placed apart they are Genuine,If not they are Re drills.I use CZP for loads of parts but i heard some things when it comes to Injectors from them that scared me.
  12. Its a known fault which was solved on the later boxes with a double cone.If the oil does not cure it i would get a new box as a rebuild will be mental money. The revised parts included a fork and new gear which i doubt are available now anyway.
  13. What Injectors are those and where were they sourced ?
  14. They are not filings,That is material from an engine thats suffered some sort of massive failure,One of those parts looks like a piece of piston ring. Are those intercoolers from your first Build Lee ? Were they new, or second hand ones ?
  15. You most probably have a failed master cylinder by the sounds of it.
  16. The head bolts are re useable they are not like modern ones that need replacing.I always tap the tube out when the sumps off from underneath but you do not have that luxury.A pair of good quality Mole Grips will probably grip enough to wrestle it out.
  17. Its ALMOST CERTAINLY going to have an engine with the early heads on.I would stay well clear of that. The valves will be toast by now.My understanding was engines with a 5 prefix or Heads with R1/L1 on.And besides that,That barn find wants pushing back in ! He is trying to cash in on the "Barn find" culture on Ebay.If anybody fancies a massive laugh search it and strap yourself in ready !
  18. You will find a drain plug on the block. It is located on the passenger side above the oil rail that feeds the turbo. It is between the AC pump and engine mount bracket. If you are pulling the heads just remove the engine it will be easier than in situ imho.
  19. Centric seem well respected and carried by several vendors over in the US.CZP List one for the NA i believe
  20. Welcome to the club fella.I could not help but notice you are using the zed as a daily. If you value it get a beater for everyday use.The 300zx will literally dissolve when used in all weathers.
  21. Why does it matter anyway its on the intake side ?
  22. It was nice meeting you Mike and what a nice example that vert is,A good find indeed i would say :punk:
  23. And if it was a British car "Pray" it started  Always took a while getting use to another car and how much choke it needed,Too much and you had a wait on your hands after it flooded.Just what you wanted on a morning !
  24. Get a rear main seal in there and a new sump rubber.I always do both now at the same time.Quite often the rubber strip is like plastic and shrinks and no amount of sealer will stop it.
