  1. ahh ok fingers crossed it fits fine chap, any reason you cut the arch at the swage line ?,i know its easier to remove less metal but forming an arch line will be harder in filler.Keep the updates coming i hate seeing zeds broken for rust if they are saveable
  2. Well done for tackling the job take my hat off to you, have you trial fitted the rear bumper yet or did you before welding the arch in ?
  3. After all these years too for gods sake,The Empire did some bad things around the world but it doesnt give them the right to try and scam us years later ffs :glare:
  4. Dont know how but it works for me fine,What did you search ?
  5. Why is the zcentre being mentioned on here when MJP is our payed up trader for parts ? Mike has been here years and has had health issues of late but hes still around and contactable by phone and can supply the items requested i imagine.
  6. We had a phone call last year from "Microsoft" from a nice lady called Paula with a very strong Asian accent saying our computer was faulty and could we turn it on this minute for them to fix it :whistling:.So convincing honestly,Because Microsoft would have my home phone number wouldnt they
  7. A future classic for sure id say and an investment for somebody.
  8. Duff info again,now theres a thing.......
  9. That dog has large paws,a sure sign of big dog in the making,Bet you and Lynda cant wait !
  10. Dont jack it on the sills !!
  11. Rears ,fronts are thicker where they spline into the hubs
  12. Got some Nismo studs at work,Can check for you. They are boxed still and unused
  13. Yes unless in economy mode it cuts the ac in always even at high temps, the duct sensors measure temp and adjustments are made to maintain the heat at a constant.
  14. You have climate control when its fully fitted,it mixes cold air with hot to regulate temp,as its deleted this is what happens.
  15. 3/16 common size copper brake pipe, readily available from Euro car parts or GSF along with new unions.
  16. Well on the way then Howard, those brake lines should be easy now whilst its all apart.Quite a weight all that lot to lower down isnt it !
  17. In Stock £25 posted if you want some.Pm me
  18. Nice to see you Howard, shame it was so wet id love to have driven youre car again.Glad you enjoyed the heart attack sandwich again
  19. Its something ive been looking at for a while now,its becoming quite an issue, good second hand boxes are non existent these days.I have 2 broken boxes i am keeping and a good one stashed away in case my own fails.A Kit the same as CZP sell is available elsewhere for half the money in the states.I found it by googling "300zx transmission rebuilt kit" none list gears or sliding sleeves though !!
  20. No afraid not as its all down to parts, aftermarket never covered them over here anyway at least, bearings gaskets are all available but sliding sleeves ive not seen or gears which incorporate the cone also adding more expense if needed or even if they are available.
  21. That kit ,baulk rings and no sliding sleeves pretty pointless really,be mad to do one without the other. But they will add to the cost considerably id imagine
  22. and they are .............. ha ha i wont spoil the quiz
  23. And the bonus is the rps flywheel can be repaired, new faces are available as a kit around 100 dollars, tbh i dont like Fidanza the faces warp as its a solid bolt on plate that cant expand and contract like the segmented RPS,And you dont need a puck clutch Si a full face will cope fine with your power levels.
  24. Mine are 8 years old now no problems at all,Ive fitted plenty and never had a set fail ever.I know early ones had complaints but that was years ago.I speak to Greg on a regular basis, and the reason he wont map with them is because he finds the idle harder to tune due to the coils used in them, his words not mine.Maybe he came across an early set at some stage who knows. And if those injectors have been sat about that wont help, any injectors set aside for long periods need cleaning before use,Even after cleaning and flow testing its advised to use them within 6 weeks.
  25. The manual is quite clear and reads as follows - A silencer in such condition, or of such a type, that the noise emitted from the vehicle is clearly unreasonably above the level expected from a similar vehicle with a standard silencer in average condition It may seem a grey area but if you read the wording its pretty clear to me to to pass something that sounds like a vulcan on take off is a no,If VOSA rock up to QC the car.Youd get points for passing it .No mention of excessive.I sat the course 8 years ago and Vosa dont like grey areas as far as testing is concerned. If in doubt pass and advise but if a vehicle is clearly way louder how would you argue that ?
