  1. I would buy an epoxy kit from Rust Buster. It can be brushed or sprayed on and is as tough as old boots and looks like paint once applied. They do a range of colours also iirc.
  2. Most of the Nismo ones are NLA now in the states the last time i checked.Shame as they were the best choice in my opinion.
  3. OEM as Richard said is the way forward.Heard so many horror stories about pattern DPF,s from a specialist i know.
  4. Thank you guys for the Birthday wishes,It was another day at work for me tinkering with a 300zx ?
  5. It is quite lightly a water leak has corroded the IPDM module that lives under the battery. It is a common issue on the 350z i believe.A google search will point you in the right direction.
  6. No Problem Mike,I am sorry if the reception was bad i was on the side of fishing lake near Oxford when you rang.
  7. Ryan buy a new loom whilst they are still available
  8. Darren i can not thank you enough for the kind words.Helping return a Uk manual back into use is always a pleasure also !
  9. Andrew is correct the bore size is different so the rail wont seal correctly. For the sake of an adaptor kit it is far easier to swap rails
  10. The SPZ fw is very good but many of the others are very poor. The Z1 version is the same as the XTD,The ring gear is soft and wears quickly in my experience.Id stick with stock in your case being honest.
  11. The Z1 Flywheel is basically the same i am afraid Art.
  12. Do NOT fit that lightweight flywheel by XTD or any other like it.The ring gear is rubbish and chews up !
  13. I am glad you enjoyed the drive home Chap.I did send a fair "few" pics over the period i had the car,They should keep you busy uploading i reckon for a while !
  14. I use Bluecol OE48 spec at around 50/50 mix.
  15. I have a new AMS rebuilt hose i am willing to sell ?
  16. Do not get a Clifford whatever you do.A lot of installers i have spoken too wont entertain them after reliability issues. The Toad is plain and simple and does all you need an alarm to do.
  17. Power steering Chris,It was only Euro models that had it and they usually corrode out and lose all fluid.
  18. Chris delete the cooler it will probablycorrode and leak eventually anyway.
  19. I would bin them Lee personally if thats happened.
  20. "Just get a conversion kit" Have you seen whats involved and the cost.Mazworx sell a kit and it is not cheap at all.By the time you buy a Box,Get the kit,Have a prop made you are into new 98 box money.
  21. Personally i like the BA,s from Z1 ,For the money along with the pipe kit they are excellent value.
  22. I got it for Graham from CZP.its a sit down price well over 2k landed but i think that is cheap being honest for a new 5 speed box.
  23. The engine was blown also.Poor Neil went to all the trouble of fitting it and it only had 50psi compression on cylinder 4.
