  1. Hi Lee,The crank is very hard and i would be amazed if the corrosion has bitten in yet.Grab a roll of 180 grit emery and polish it at home then coat it with oil to stop it rusting again.
  2. They are Border Wings so uber rare,How they are steep i do not know ? Would you go into watch shop and tell them you can buy a "Rolex" on a Turkish beach for £20 ??
  3. Wrong grade of Oil and Castrol is not what it was it seems.I know of several owners of performance cars who have gone away from it over noises from lifters..It should be a 10/40 grade in the 300zx
  4. Looks like mild steel welding on stainless tubing.God knows why places do that.
  5. It is most lightly a bad Mass Air flow Meter,Or an air leak somewhere.Unplug the MAF and see how it runs after.
  6. Hi Salli,It is usually the wire where it earths onto the bulb holder. You can post it down if you like and i will fix it for you and get it sent back up.
  7. It comes as a kit Chris to treat any areas and seal them off. When my windscreen cracked i found surface rust in the aperture from a previous bad install. I used the Rustbuster Kit and i was very impressed with the finish and durability.
  8. Happy days Andrew finding those. That is a huge bonus.
  9. For standard KYB,S (non adjustables) Conceptua Tuning in Devon keep them in stock.
  10. I would buy an epoxy kit from Rust Buster. It can be brushed or sprayed on and is as tough as old boots and looks like paint once applied. They do a range of colours also iirc.
  11. Most of the Nismo ones are NLA now in the states the last time i checked.Shame as they were the best choice in my opinion.
  12. OEM as Richard said is the way forward.Heard so many horror stories about pattern DPF,s from a specialist i know.
  13. Thank you guys for the Birthday wishes,It was another day at work for me tinkering with a 300zx ?
  14. It is quite lightly a water leak has corroded the IPDM module that lives under the battery. It is a common issue on the 350z i believe.A google search will point you in the right direction.
  15. No Problem Mike,I am sorry if the reception was bad i was on the side of fishing lake near Oxford when you rang.
  16. Ryan buy a new loom whilst they are still available
  17. Darren i can not thank you enough for the kind words.Helping return a Uk manual back into use is always a pleasure also !
  18. Andrew is correct the bore size is different so the rail wont seal correctly. For the sake of an adaptor kit it is far easier to swap rails
  19. The SPZ fw is very good but many of the others are very poor. The Z1 version is the same as the XTD,The ring gear is soft and wears quickly in my experience.Id stick with stock in your case being honest.
  20. The Z1 Flywheel is basically the same i am afraid Art.
  21. Do NOT fit that lightweight flywheel by XTD or any other like it.The ring gear is rubbish and chews up !
  22. I am glad you enjoyed the drive home Chap.I did send a fair "few" pics over the period i had the car,They should keep you busy uploading i reckon for a while !
  23. I use Bluecol OE48 spec at around 50/50 mix.
