  6. Is this Condenser Parallel or Serpentine flow out of curiousty ?
  7. Hi Naz,It was a pleasure meeting you & working on the car again after Ollie sold it.With what you are planning it will be a very fine example indeed.
  8. It is yes chap.
  9. Hi Chap,No respectable welder is going to want to carry on a job you started first i am afraid.
  10. I have a 96 na loom that is in very good condition. You would need new style injectors/Cas & Ptu for it to work though.
  11. Hi Lee,Coming on nicely i see,Did you gap the rings prior ? The scraper rings are usually about right but the compression ring usually need around 5 thou removing so they are in tolerance. If the gaps are smaller than they should be when the engine warms up the rings will bind and scuff the bores.
  12. Was that a boat anchor at some point ?
  13. Why were the head gaskets done ? If it has been boiled at some point it is highly probable the bores are glazed. Those figures are not good and will not help it start if they are actually correct. If you can get it running they may come up slightly. You will need a really good battery to crank that fast enough and get it started.Have you checked each injector actually works ? I change loads these days that have gone bad,They do not like being laid up for years and that may be the problem.
  14. I am going to get my popcorn ready for that epsiode ?
  15. TDI North had 300zx ACL Shells on the shelf recently Lee
  16. Hi Andrew,I am currently speaking with the owner and will encourage him in joining and making himself and the car known if i can.
  17. This is one for Andrew Glenn,I have been made aware of an Aug 94 registered White Uk Automatic,The VIN ends in 1113 so made before L7 but still quite possibly the last sold car maybe ? It has undergone a restoration and looks stunning now.
  18. Hi Bredders,Congrats on the purchase fella,Have you somebody in mind for the restoration work ? That is beyond most body shops these days they will run a mile when they see that.I have a guy in Bristol who does all my 300zx welding repairs for me who is very good.
  19. Hi Chap,I have never actually bought a new one in all my years.
  20. What clinches this for me is the fact those modern coil packs are cheaply available new,Why,Because they fail quite simply. It is a down grade in my opinion.Another example of OEM being best for most situations.
  21. That Andrew belongs to a lovely gent named Ray Passmore. It is very clean and straight and a good buy for somebody.
  22. Or you can buy Gates Barricade for a 3rd of the price and get some Mikalor 14mm Spring clamp Clips from Ebay like i do.
  23. Is the speedo converted using a chip on the back of the clocks ? I always start with these and bridge them out by re joining the signal wires,Usually a green and yellow.Try this and see if the issue stops. If it does you have found the problem. The box sender units are pretty reliable in all honesty. The clocks are not so but start with the converter chip first.
  24. Check the ambient temp sensor wiring behind the bumper.
  25. I always find with the bypass on the ecu done and full voltage at the pump the cars have a tendency in being over rich at idle,The adjustable reg is a good way of controlling this. That is the main reason i use adjustable set ups.The stock regulators are pretty good otherwise for decent power levels.
