I recently needed a bonnet, as some of you may have seen. Brian answered the request and last night I popped up to his luxury man cave to retrieve it. What a top bloke! Real credit to club spirt, even sorted me out with some fruit pastels and some other bits. Proper gent. Good karma is due to him I must say. So yes, thanks mate!

Where is the best place to get the above as Ive spotted them on the bay but they need modified to suit, so going to give them a miss. Want nice ones but not at rip off prices to match the clear lenses I got for the rears. Cheers

Does anybody know if the plug/connector on the cruise control ECU changed from series 1 to series 2 or auto to manual? I have a couple of ECU's here that the plug from my JDM 93 man TT won't marry up to. One is from a JDM series 1 auto TT and the other from an unknown UK spec, both of which have the same socket but my plug is slightly too big for them. Joel.

  7. Hi all, My friend has bought a 300zx JDM 3.0 N/A manual, and in less than a week the car struggles to start and seems to make a nasty sound from under the belt covers (i think on exhaust cam sides) Seen a video online where the belt was shaking and jumping causing it to do so... could that be the reason?? What can be done? what could it be? how much would it cost? and who would you recommend in southampton? Any advice would be more than appreciated!

Hey guys, from the time i got my 300zx some 5 years a go,i knew there was something not right, when ticking over the engine sounds fine but when i rev the car it seems to clog it self up,i watched this vid today and tryed it for myself, low and behold cylinder 1 isnt firing 2 to 6 seem fine,So i thought it might be a coil pak so i removed it and the spark plug is sparking fine.Do you guys think the injector is fecked?and if so is it possible to get just one or should i get a 6.Any advise would be great.Cheers all:chef:

Hi everyone I've got quite unusual problem. I've got a 1995 non turbo, automatic model, which since I got it has a hesitation problem when cold. I have run the codes and code 42 , fuel temperature sensor circuit fault pops up. I managed to get a new sensor, but when I opened the bonnet I noticed not only that the place where the sensor should be s empty, but also there is no connector. I] attach the photo. Is it located elswhere in my car? What should I do? thanks or any advice Tom

Hi all as the title states I am now the proud owner of a manual twin turbo Z picked her up today. I had a N/A previously before this one. What id like to ask is for any advice and tips on looking after this engine its had a full rebuild two years ago and only done 2000 miles since then, no performance mods just built to standard spec. I know these engines have to be warmed up before revving and oil changes are more frequent, but is there anything else I should watch out for or do in general? im gona give her a full service this week and check over at my garage. cheers guys!!

  25. So, put more of my Zed back together today, I reattached my starter motor, and connected the plug cable, but can't remember what to attach here - I guess it has to be an earth? Assuming it is, I think what I might have done is bolt the bracket to the gearbox, where the earth is meant to bolt to. Anyone know?
